My buddy and I were were just passing through on our way from Iowa to dive the outer banks of North Carolina and stopped here for the night. A little older hotel, but clean, tidy, free wifi, fridge, microwave and a light breakfast in the morning. Only $59 which fit right into our "guy trip" kind of budget. The big...

I have been staying here most every time I visit my home town. The staff are always friendly. It is an older building. But always clean. I will continue to stay here. Fresh fruit and hot coffee to start my day. . See ya next time.

I wouldn`t say this hotel was awful but it leaves some things to be desired. The room itself was okay, except, the window was streaky and felt dirty when I touched it, the towels in the bathroom were stained, the wallpaper was starting to peel and the air freshener was a Febreze car vent clip. With those things taken into...

I read good things about this Budget Inn. It is true. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The price was great. They catered to our late arrival. If I had to find something negative to say it would be the breakfast. But even that doesn't bother me as I don't eat much of a breakfast anyways, and its enough...

The staff was very nice and the rooms were clean. It was very close (next door) to the hospital where our Great grand daughter was born and very close to where they live. Definitely would stay there again. After we checked out my husband noticed he had lost his wedding ring, We went back to the hotel and they even...

The hotel was cheap on the price...should have known better but my wife booked it. Kind of dumpy and had cockroaches crawling in our room— jumped up in the middle of the night because I felt something crawling on my arm. Staff was very friendly though.

The only reason I did not rank this lower is because after a peek I did see there were rooms in better condition than mine and I have stayed in worse. I rank this poor because it wasnt until my second day there that i realized the awful odor in the room was due to the fact that it was...

The hotel evening check-in manager was very nice and helpful. That was the only positive experience. This independent motel, formally an Econo Lodge, is nothing short of a dump. The parking lot, interior halls, carpeting, bedding, torn wallpaper were in poor to awful condition. This property is in drastic need of renovation, or demolition. I would sleep in my car...

This is an older property inland from the main riverfront area of town. It’s convenient to the hospital, county fairgrounds, US-35 West, and not much else. The property is showing its age on the outside. It’s plain brick with limited landscaping and a parking lot in need of a couple of patches. But it was clean, inside and out. The...

I had to stay in Gallipolis on a Friday night, so I called three motels and got three prices: $105, $89.21, and $54.95. I went with the Budget Inn's $54.95. The staff was very good, the spacious room was clean, and the bed was good. There was a microwave oven and a good-sized refrigerator, see photo. The wifi worked great,...
