Regency by GRT (kanchipuram) is located in the heart of town making it very easy to access all the temples including the 108 Vishnu Divyadesams. The staff at the reception gave us a warm welcome and ensured a seamless check-in. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Food at the Dakshin restaurant located in the ground floor was wonderful. They had ample south Indian and north Indian options in the lunch buffet, in addition to a good Ala carte menu. The services were delivered promptly and thoroughly. Special mention to Surya , Prakash and Swetha for making the dining experience enjoyable. Thanks to Hemalatha and Helen at the front desk for ensuring that all our needs were met. Looking forward to our next visit.

Good hotel, Good service. Very central location. Adequate parking facilities. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Rooms suitable for 2 persons. Hotel is 15 mins driving distance from all major temples.

Great hospitality and service. Must stay whilst in Kanchipuram . We as family always prefer GRT whilst in Tamil Madu, the standards are always maintained and customer service remains the best. Keep it up !!

Though located bang on a busy shopping street, the rooms do not get the traffic noise. Its a business hotel with limited parking. Rooms are compact but well appointed. The breakfast spread is good. We stayed in the 4th floor rooms and there was lot of noise of chairs and gas cylinders being moved at all hours, which is annoying especially when you return tired to the room after spending the whole day visiting temples and saree shopping.

Very very courteous and helpful staff. Very comfortable stay. It is the best hotel in Kanchi. Located right in the centre of the marketplace, it gives you the best options to do shopping for Kanjeevaram silk. Highly recommended for all travellers to Kanchipuram.

One of hotels that runs under the umbrella of GRT. Unfortunately, this hotel will disappoint travellers if they expect the same standards that GRT Group maintains. Rooms look tired out, restaurants need a revamp (including staff), car parking is not the most helpful facility. However, we are confident that this will improve and will keep the GRT flag flying high in due course with a few tweaks.

On a hot morning after visiting the temple, we came here for a late breakfast. Their buffet time was over , but they still accommodated us and served idli, dosa, pongal and Vada. Chef Anthony Raj was very accommodating and made Vada on special request. We were very well taken care by our waiter Raj who made the entire experience a pleasant one. Good ambassadors for the GRT group.

The staff are excellent! They made the stay so comfortable to us. They are the most attentive , friendly courteous! They make sure that everything is sorted out. They give personal attention. Helan, Hemalatha and Chris are amazing. Hemalatha made sure that I got back my lost spectacles! One of the best stays ever!

The hotel and the room was clean. Enjoyed the food, very tasty and good. Will return again for another stay if visiting Kancheepuram. Signage to reach the hotel can be improved as a little to locate for outsiders.

I booked a suite and deluxe room for a one-night stay, but the room was not up to suite standards. The quality of the food was also disappointing. I shared my feedback with the hotel manager and chef, and they promised to look into it. However, I believe that the hotel needs renovation in order to attract guests and maintain its reputation. I hope that the hotel management will take my feedback seriously and fix the issues that I have highlighted. Overall, I do not believe that the hotel is worth the cost.
