We stayed here for 2 nights in Nov,2012. We had taken the first floor room with balcony. The balcony gives a fantastic view of the Kalimpong town. The hotel has a homely feel and the staffs were cooperative.

The rooms and beds are enormous with large balconies overlooking the Tibetan section of town. The staff are friendly and helpful if you need internet or wish to purchase some locally made handicrafts without needing to go searching through the markets. The hot water was on again / off again so I needed to let the staff know ahead of... More

Very comfortable rooms in the annexed building. The shared balcony has great views. Room prices are set a bit high but can become reasonable with a little negotiating. Manager was very helpful. No wi-fi.

From the shabby tourist information centre near Damber Chowk, I was recommended Deki Lodge and was told many travellers go there. I walked up the main road, Rishi Road, for 10 minutes, turned left up the hilly Tripai Rd only 30 metres, and it was on the left side through an unsuspecting gate. I got a small and basic but... We arrived at this hotel in the middle of a thunderstorm and therefore had little choice but to remain, despite vastly inflated prices compared to anywhere else we'd stayed and little quality to show for it. The staff were friendly though and we had a mediocre meal in the restaurant. After an exhausting day we went to sleep but found... More

There is nothing bad about this place, it's just well overpriced for what it offers. We got a room outside for 600 rupees a night (double). The room was cute and cosy, but it didnt include a geyser, or hot water, or a fan, and had a squat toilet. It's also a fair walk out of town up a steep... More

My first trip to Kalimpong was made so sweet because of this place. Homely and lovely, the 2-night stay at Deki Lodge was very warm to say the least. The dining room, the stairs, Bhutia ji's wonderful cooking (especially the chicken curry :P), and Tashi and her dogs made our stay really memorable. In the evenings, switch off the lights,... More

Old style rooms downstairs with tiny TV's, short beds and cramped bathrooms...but with it cold and wet outside not a bad way to go...hot water geyser and plenty of blankets was nice...parking for our motorcycle and good food served...manager obviously told to jack the prices for tourists the big worry I would say! Not much else on offer in Kalimpong... More

I have booked this hotel by mail and they confirmed two super deluxe room.
