Caldera Palace Some highs and a low! Tui runs a tour to the Minoan palace of Knossos. Irini, the guide, was by far the most knowledgeable guide I have ever experienced. It was my third trip there in 55 years. If you are a thinking human—it is a must. The other exceptional high was the show “Wickedly Broadway” by the...

Just returned from a week at Caldera Palace. We were in block 9000 and had a swim up room on ground floor. Pros - There is a lovely quiet small pool area behind this block which gets sun in the morning and swim up rooms get sun in the afternoon. There was a very cool NW wind when we were...

loved this hotel from beginning to end. Didn't want to leave, only had 7 days and wished we had more! The food was lovely, great selection every day. Only negative there is the fact the food is never piping hot but then it never is, you get used to it though and it certainly didn't alter the fact that it...

We returned to this lovely hotel for the second time this year. Stayed 13 - 21st Sept. The staff recognised us on arrival and greeted us like old friends. We were touched by this as they must see so many different faces. We were treated to sparkling white wine on arrival, and as before check in very quick and efficient....

The room and the total setting (pools, show, location, etc) of this hotel is OK for 5*. But the food is far below 5*as well in the main restaurant as in different à la carte restaurants (Mexican, Crete, Thai). The main restaurant has more the atmosphere of a refectory than a 5* restaurant: table clearing with huge trolleys, food transport...

Our second visit over the years, swim up rooms this time, all inclusive, couldnt really fault the place. The place is run extremely well with the attention to detail beyond expectations. General presentation, layout, food, drink, staff, pool, other facilities all top notch! I would recommend the swim up rooms, takes away the need to battle for sun beds!

We stayed half term may/ June 2015. There were a lot of children of course but they were mainly by the family pools. We used the adult only pools which were quieter. The main restaurant was the only restaurant you didn't need to book & most families ate there which caused a lot of mess & there was noise too....

A really, really nice charter resort. Lots of pools and serving places all around. Plenty of organized activities for the kids and a splash pool with some simple slides for the under 7 ages. The food is excellent, wich is surprising considering the number of people served dayli. Drinks included in the full board program is served at the table...

Really nice hotel, excellent cleaning service but hotel let down by standard of food and restaurant experience- difficulty booking a restaurant and limited choice of only main restaurant or tex mex for lunch. Sensatori in tenerife was far better. Was happy to be going home in the end while I would have gladly stayed an extra week in tenerife
