Stayed 7 nights in the 2 bedroom apartment with seaview. Location was very central. Access to pool, beach and local shops and tavernas. All within walking distance. Rooms were clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable. Staff helpful. Only negative was having to constantly login to wifi.

Being a first timer to Mykonos, I didn't know what to expect, however my Mom and I were absolutely delighted with the Hotel Dorian! Wonderful Concierge service in "Nick", the rooms from Reception, to the individual guest rooms with breathtaking views of the fishing boats catching lunch & dinner from the verandas, to the idyllic white cubist homes with blue shutters, to the breakfast area...all marble, white linen/cotton, dotted with gorgeous orchids/lavender/native island plants. I would describe as Boutique Chic...but classier😊 Very clean, charming, nothing to not like.

Every afternoon the fragrance of homemade cakes in the oven perfume the air...and these are for us for breakfast! The food selection in the morning excited me, as I didn't know what to try first...

The hotel has exceeded my Mom and I's expectations, and we chose to stay and lounge at one of four sparkling pools, instead of going on an excursion...that's a first in our traveling history!

Choose the Hotel Dorian if you ever visit Mykonos, Greece...you'll be delighted, guaranteed!

The Dorian apartments and cleaning services are good however unless you are under 30 years old I wouldn't recommend staying here as its extremely noisy from 10 am until 5 am due to the apartments overlooking the Palm beach resort which our room did the double glazing cut out most of the noise but not the deep bass coming from the night club this theme continues throughout the day around the pool area making it impossible to use for our group, we were fortunate to find a quiet pool at a nearby hotel to use which saved our holiday the photographs of the pool and seaview are very seductive but unfortunately you cannot see noise if you love clubbing then this is the place for you otherwise look for something quieter on the edge of the town, although Lambros was very helpful for our reservation and greeted us on arrival we saw no-one apart from the cleaner for seven days although on checking out Lambros told us he had been unwell with the flu which we were sorry to hear but overall we found the Dorian apartments a bit soulless

I travelled to Hersonissos in Crete as a surprise holiday, I knew I had two weeks off and I was going away, but I had no idea where I would be going. This was all part of my birthday celebrations and the first five days were spent here. Obviously I had no say in the choice, but it was an excellent standard of accommodation to base yourself in Crete. Literally right on the main road in the centre of Hersonissos. The building is only four stories high and has only a couple of apartments on each floor. There is a reception area in the basement where we were checked in by the owner himself, a very nice Greek man known as Lambros. His only concern was our enjoyment of his small hotel and our stay on Crete, evening giving us a little shot to toast our stay. Lambros took all of our bags to the apartment and then returned to show us the way. We had a two bedroomed apartment on the third floor. Each bedroom had its own balcony. One facing over the main street and the other facing the sea across the Palm Beach Club which is immediately behind the hotel. This beach club offers access to a pool, a bar and restaurant, it is accessible to anyone, but feels like it is part of the Dorian Hotel. It can get very noisy at night, music will play until the early hours, luckily Lambros has had very effective glazing and soundproof shutters installed and it made sleep possible, but noise could still be heard through the bathroom which had glass bricks with a ventilation brick within the wall.

The apartment was very spacious, with the exception of the kitchen. Only one person can fit in there at a time, but it was all fully serviceable and well stocked with cooking facilities, a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and iron. The bathroom had toilet, basin and double shower cubicle. There were no issues with hot water. Each bedroom was sizeae and boasted good storage, each wardrobe had space for plenty of clothes, but more hangers would have been great. There is not really any drawer space, but that wasn't a problem. There was also a free electronic safe in each room, along with individual air conditioning units which were really effective. I loved the different lighting options and the concealed LED lighting around the headboard. The best feature was the very comfortable beds and excellent linen and bedding. The hallway between the two bedrooms had more wardrobe space and a table for two, but with no natural light it wasn't really used. The apartment overall was a fantastic standard, and very clean, my mother was very impressed with it. There is a lift provided to all floors. It is tiny however. We could just about squeeze three people in it, but it did the job.

Outside on the main street you gave any number of shops immediately on the doorstep. There is a bar right outside of you want a night cap before returning for the night, they serve food also. A well stocked supermarket is around ten minutes walk to the right. Most of the restaurants and bars are located on the sea-front walk, which you can access down a side street or the Palm Beach Club. There is a lot of choice and we never had a bad meal, though I higy recommend taking a taxi up to the square in Old Hersonissos on a Monday night for the brilliant Greek dancing, all of the restaurants are in on it and the atmosphere is amazing. We ate at Zachos and I really recommend this restaurant.

We did hire a car for two days and toured the north coast, but we did like Hersonissos as it was so large and central. The transfer from the airport is less than thirty minutes. Lambros arranged our transfers for us. If you want to stay somewhere central, with a good level of comfort, and a very personal service, you have come to the right place.

The pictures shown for this property do not appear to be the Dorian Apartments in Hersonissos, however the address and contact details are correct.
