We found the hotel was well situatedm it was close to the Beach, Bus routes, Shops. Atms, Bars and Resturants.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful with suggestions of where to go and what to do.
the rooms consisted of Bedroom with a safe (you could use after making a payment at the reception desk) A hair dryer and aircon (free to inclusive guests), a small balcony.
Lounge/kitchen with a tv/wifi,kettle,fridge, (use of iron and ironing board apon request to reception).
shower and toilet.
The cleaner came everyday with fresh towels and linen.
The restruant was clean and tidy with friendly waiters and the food was available as self service they gave a wide choice of food to suit everybody.
The hotel had a Pool with snacks/drinks availabe at certain times of the day plus sun loungers.
The hotel had its own bar with a special cocktail on offer at a cheaper price every night.
The hotel itself was clean and tidy.

I was thinking to give a 3.5* but I will give 4 and explain more below:

The hotel is not a 4* that’s for sure. Rooms conditions judt don’t achive that level. The only part that could be considered a 4* is maybe the dinner area+bar.

We faced some issues with the bathroom from day 1 -> water leaking from shower, towels had stains… We raised the issue to the reception and the hotel manager came the next day to fix the leaking issue.

The room itself is trying to go for a nice look, boho style but it just needs more. AC needs to be paid/day which is absurd after paying all inclusive, TV is a joke, just some greek/russian/french channels with same news about Afganistan all day long.

The restaurant was actually a nice place to eat, good design ans very good food. The drinks instead were very bad (cola / wine / coffee they all seemed like lengthened with water).
I felt each day that the waiters treated you differently depending on where are you froon.(Germans/Sweedish/Dutch were taken care with more interess , Vaggelis was the only one who seeme to be humble and careful with us, others were always rushing and I did not like that).

Room: 3/5
Bathroom: 2/5
Restaurant: 4.5/5
Food: 4.5/5
Bar: 4/5
Pool area: 3/5 (the sunbeds were dirty and weared off with holes … also never cleaned)

An overall would be 3.5/5 which is not so bad. Thanks again to Vaggelis for beeing kind and always there.

Hotel is located in center of very commercial city. A lot of restaurants, car rentals, shop etc close by. Dinners are good but breakfasts and lunch are very generic. Rooms are clean and pretty big. Due to covid precautions guests cant pour drinks in restaurant by themself and service is slow while forgetting things you ordered for drinking. I understand limitation of covid but i feel this is beneficial for hotels to limit all inclusive service by not enabling guests to freely getting drinks. Free wifi in entire hotel is clearly just lie. Wifi wasn't conecting in my room and it was painfully slow or totally not working on common areas. Advertised cleaning service every day isn't true as well... 7 night stay was cleaned only 3 times. Late checkout looks great on website but again we seen multiple guests not allowed to have it and we didnt get it. There no no showers for guests waiting for check in or departure. Staff is friendly but doesnt offer any solutions for customers... Being sorry for my inconvieniences doesnt change anything for me. Definetely i will look for other hotels while visiting this area again.

Arrived 3.30 am after 2 1/2 hour flight delay to be told we were in the indigo inn casa across the road not the hotel stated on our booking, given room infested, by infested we were actually told that a pest control guy was calling to decontaminate with mosquitos went to asked to be moved they apologised and said come back in the morning, we did that and said call back later by this time in the daylight we could see how bad this room was the terrace was under the eyeline of the pool and was covered in mosquitos, which when you opened the door came straight in, making the balcony a no go area completely! The room also was covered from floor to ceiling, we had 4 plug in adaptors yet still my wife was bit to bits even on her face ( and we were here to attend a wedding) room was small and dirty the bathroom was stained with what looked like human waste and the drain smelled disgusting! still no action about moving rooms after going back and forth all day and told to come back tomorrow (everything is written down in a book to tell the manager???) we were told by a different receptionist that all our attempts had been written in said book but it appeared the manager had not been contacted!!! next day asked as we went for breakfast no news come back later! After breakfast still no decision, few hours later after my wife had pleaded with them in tears, they said we could move but not sure of new room number, 2 hours pass and we try again and success we can move 36 hours after arriving, new room exactly 1 floor up but clean and mosquito free. All is well till day before we leave ask to keep room on and again it's written in book to ask manager?? and told to come back tomorrow, we go back a few times till were told that we can't keep our room but can move to another next door for 30 euros. At this point we are told there is a shower room with hair dryer etc available if it is only to freshen up before our departure. Now might be naive here but to us that means it's a room we're you can shower and get changed so when we come to use it we are shown to a shower in the corridor from the pool no locks on the door or hangers so one of us has to stand outside and pass things in, then getting changed in the corridor?? Never in my years ( we are in our 50s ) have I known a hotel not to have a courtesy room. The restaurant is nice lots of choice but very busy and always queues which extend out into the street and the pool areas have no where near enough beds for amount of people that stay here, this hotel is not what it claims to be. My advice would be stay clear entirely.

Dear fitza69, Thank you for your time to write a review for Indigo Inn to TripAdvisor! We would like to mention that we have new buildings and we have expanded our hotel with new rooms and new pools that are next to the main building and at the check-in time one of our colleague assist all the guests to accompany them to the new area. Furthermore, you took the type of the room that you have booked and when you mentioned the problem that you had our colleagues informed you that due to full occupancy we will change you the soonest that we can and we did it. Moreover, all the hotels charge the late departure of the guests and we provide to our guests an area for their luggage's, safe box for the valuable stuff they may have and shower rooms, if they do not want to pay the extra cost for the extend of the check-out. Lastly, we are a hotel which tries the best for our guests and we are sorry that you did not have the vacations that you expected. Of course every review is valuable for us, so we can improve ourselves and thank you once more for your opinion. Kind Regards, Irini Selimai Public Relations

We were so excited to visit Creta for first time (August 2019), so we chose Hotel Indigo Inn. It was nice and clean, rooms and other places were similar as in the picture.
Unfortunately that was the worst all inclusive ever. Breakfasts and dinners the same every day (Greek has great cuisine, not only greek salad), for lunch you could choose between two things.
But most of all, drinks!! Every time I went from beach to the hotel bar, I had to wait few time that bartender came. And than I was not allowed to take two drinks, only one. Greek Ouzo was not included in their drinks. We definitly paid too much for this service, +you have to pay extra for air conditioner and deckchair.
They have great pool, but after 7 p.m. it is closed, so we didnt use it at all.
If you still want to come in this hotel, take only breakfast and dinner.
I really don't want to sully anyone, but I was really dissapointed. We had better time in Djerba for half less money.

We liked our stay very much! 10/10
1) Very close to the beach, in the center of commercial city. You can find supermarkerts, shopping, everything. Close to the bus stations.
2) The room was big, very clean, with everything you need. The cleaning was made every day or every 2 days. If you are a smoker, you have a nice balcony were you can smoke or dry you clothes. I know that some guest complained about the noise, but i assure you is not that bad. Plus the music is super super good. The man who chose the playlists deserves a raise :) It was nice if the door to the balcony had a mosquito net. The wi-fi is a little bit slow, but you can watch a movie on netflix or search something without any trouble.
3) The food is good and you can find plenty of fruits, sweets and if you are a vegetarian I assure you that you won't starve. The coffee was great! You can also find baby seats.Plus, if you like, they have a nice restaurant in the same place. And a bar were you can have nice cocktails or hookah.
4) But the highest grade is for the staff. They work hard, always with a smile on their face, they help you with anything. We never waited for drinks. They were very prompt all the time. I will miss the soft singing of Ema, the nice smile of Eva, the Tequila Sunrise made by Dimitri and Marianna. Plus, Popi is awesome and she gave me solutions for my smoking habit and we enjoyed speaking with her. The staff is one of the best I've ever seen. Also, one of their chefs is a hottie :)

On the face of it this is a lovely hotel, but the images on the Internet are clearly a good few years old.
Original pool with bar is old and tired, the sun bed area near the pool is often very muddy and in a couple of areas swamp like.
You do have a further 3 x pools available over the road but only a few beds available.
The best pool is a long pool with gorgeous beds either side, BUT this is at a €10 charge per bed per day, this soon mounts up if you have a family.
This pool at the extra charge is spoilt by the extremely loud music that the bar staff insist on pumping out as if we are all at an 18-30 party.
This does not lend itself to a relaxing environment.

Food is great and staff are very nice, rooms spot on location great, but even after a couple of conversations regarding the unbearable pool noise it clearly seems they are not to change.

I think it's the beach for the next few days.

Very disappointed by this hotel and the lack of management of my issue. The room was not as advertised. I specifically booked a Superior Double Suite by the pictures on their website. However I got the smallest room from the entire building(s). It was a "corner" room with a joke of a balcony where there was only one chair that was fitting. You could not fit 2 people on the balcony. Seems that I got a "Comfort double room": as I found this option on Booking.com, but they do not have it advertised on their website. They did not offer me any valid explanation and said that the manager will check if it is possible to change the room. However, in 7 days I did not receive any answer from the manager, or the guy from the reception. Shame on them, it would have been nice to receive an least an answer (either positive or negative).
This hotel has multiple buildings under multiple names: Indigo Inn, Indigo Inn Casa, so the room I got was not in the main hotel that appears on the pictures.
So I advise to confirm what type of room you will be getting before booking this hotel.
Also, you have to pay for the additional things that they are advertised: air conditioning, pool.
The only positive thing about my experience in this hotel, was the staff from the restaurant, which were very friendly, and the variety of food they are serving in the morning and evening ( we got a half board with a buffet).
Other that that, I recommend choosing a different hotel from this area, because this one is not so nice as it sounds.

Just returned home from a stay at the indigo hotel, we stayed in the new part casa, felt strange at first that we were away from the main hotel and restaurant, but once settled no hardship.
The hotel is going through a major face lift new pool restaurant etc with absolutely no impact or inconvenience to us the guest once finished will be even better than it is now.
The whole staff are a credit to the hotel , extremely clean, food is excellent for a fully inclusive, bar and waiters are very helpful can’t praise enough.
We also hired a car via the hotel which was easier than the many street hires and competitive.
Question would we stay here again ?
Without hesitation 100% yes

Sorry for the late response. Yes it will be suitable for a family if you tell the staff, they will put you in a more 'family area'. But to be honest most of the lads and girls suites will be at the entrence of the reception (shouldnt be a problem as i was there too). From my own expierence they will also hang out at the bar/swimming pool because these connect to eachother (also shouldnt be a problem). All with all; i say yes to suitable for a family.

Soft drinks and local alcoholic drink are included but no cocktails. You have to pay for them.

Hi, they serve 3 meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). No snacks like how we are all used to other All Inclusive hotels all over the world. Free non alcoholic and local alcoholic drinks. You need to pay for cocktails or special coffee. There are enough choices for breakfast which includes sausages, vegetables, and other basic stuff. This hotel is very basic so don't expect a lot.
