We booked our stay on quite a short notice and we were very pleased by the whole experience. The room was amazing - clean, spacious and you could see the effort put into the design and matching of every detail. The bathroom actually inspired us to make some changes at our own house. And the finishing touch - the Amazon...

Frontage and curb appeal aside, you open to the door onto a little Haven. Hutton House delivers wonderful decor, comfy beds and scrumptious breakfasts. Our bathroom was luxurious .Husband did find the low ceiling with his head but it has not put him off and we will be back for a visit later in the year. Family friendly with two...

Spent 2 nights here as it is close to Capernwray diving centre. Rooms spacious with a very comfortable bed and tea/coffee. Cake was always available downstairs should you feel peckish! Hosts are very welcoming. Breakfast is fabulous - great selection available. Lovely historic building that is really well decorated inside. It is virtually opposite the pub (which serves evening meals.)...

This B&B looks nothing from the outside but it's first class inside, with a nice Scandinavian-type theme going on. Lovely room (the en-suite one) and fantastic breakfast that would put a lot of five star hotels to shame.

Very enjoyable stay. Room was large, comfortable and well appointed. Heating was good too. Really welcomed by owners, tasty breakfast and a chance to speak some Spanish. Parking was on street but plenty of it and not much traffic.

Having done the waterfall trail and having a date night, the room was very comfy and spacious. Kings arms was a nice little pub had some food, standard pub grub.. Great service... Breakfast was on another level though at this little place, was so much variety, they hadn't forgot a thing. Defo gone the extra mile. Quirky character property which...

Don't let the outside of Hutton House put you off. Appearances can be deceptive! Once over the threshold you are in a warm family home and made to feel most welcome. We stayed in Scandi - very comfortable bed, real coffee in the room, and handmade cookies which were scrumptious. A fab nights sleep was the topped by the most...

Really lovely B&B just off the M6. Great hosts, a beautifully appointed room and sumptuous breakfast. Don't be put off by the slightly shabby exterior (it's an ongoing project) - inside the house is quirky, cosy and full of charm. A great place to stay . . .

This is a quirky, youthful bed and breakfast with excellent host and hostess, the most comfortable bed, a warm bathroom finished to high spec and a good breakfast. The Kings Arms across the road surprised us, given their rather limited menu, in the quality of their cooking, very convenient on a village with limited facilities. Well worth a visit.

What a gem of a place this is! We stayed for 1 night on the way to Scotland and were absolutely delighted with Hutton House, the accommodation and wonderful hospitality of Alba and Simon (not to mention the adorable Marcus!!). The rooms were immaculate, warm and inviting and breakfast was just amazing with everything from warm chocolate croissants, fabulous fruit...
