Deepdale is an award-winning, friendly independent campsite and private rooms located on the beautiful North Norfolk Coast. We offer pitches for tents, campervans, motorhomes and trailer tents (sorry no caravans due to planning restrictions), along with comfortable self-catering private rooms for individuals, couples and families. Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the village of Burnham Deepdale occupies a very special place on the North Norfolk Coast. Each of us here at Deepdale has their own passion, whether it be the wild beauty of the saltmarshes on a Spring morning; long Winter walks along the Norfolk Coast Path; lying in the grass gazing up awe-inspired at a Summer night sky, or an Autumn day spent watching birds migrate to their winter home. We would like to invite you to come and discover your passion with us.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Another lovely weekend stay at Deepdale. The staff proved them selfs by solving a problem we had with our electric hook up promptly and with no fuss. The folk nights are worth attending normally but this time Man the Lifeboats really made it special. The location is great for walks to suite all abilities and the there are a nice selection of shops ,the cafe and pubs in the village.

A little gem of a place..With friendly helpful staff. This time we stayed in Rooms that were comfortable, cosy and clean. Plus being a dog friendly site our little fella enjoyed his stay as well. The shared areas were well equipped and maintained. A great location for exploring the north Norfolk coastal villages and towns. We would highly recommend the Deepdale site and will be back in the spring in our campervan.

It was a lovely experience. The kitchen is cosy and very clean. The room was clean and welcoming and the ensuite was great. The staff were welcoming and cheerful. I imagine that when there are a lot of people staying it is a bit noisier but sociable. I was fortunate to be staying there mid-week and it was quiet. Burnham Deepdale is a lovely area of Norfolk, geese flying over, owls calling and fabulous coastal walks. Whatever time you stay it will be great.

Easily one of the best camp sites I have stayed at. Spent 3 nights in my camper and it was perfect. The location and facilities are second to none, particularly the shower/toilet facilities. Even lent me a towel when I forgot mine. Will definitely be back.

Great place to stay, if you enjoy the countryside, birdwatching or walking. The facilities at Deepdale Camping and Rooms were immaculately clean and the staff were delightful. We stayed in a double room and our friends brought a camper-van. There is a large well equipped kitchen and a place to watch TV/socialise. There is a small supermarket nearby and a few little shops that will appeal to holidaymakers/birdwatchers. There are two nice comfortable pubs within walking distance both of which offer food—we went to the Jolly Sailors. There are loads of interesting events that take place at Deepdale including, arts, crafts, pop-up shops and Christmas events such as wreath making. Deepdale hosts quite a few music events—next week it’s a band called Man the Lifeboats.

First time visiting Norfolk and Deepdale was one of three sites we stayed on. We liked it so much we stayed an extra night. It’s in an excellent location to explore the area, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the site showers are the best we’ve ever been to. Their website is so full of helpful information about events and activities taking place. We were lucky enough to book a place at The White Horse pub in the village during Norfolk food week and it didn’t disappoint. We cycled from the site to Holkham Hall and Wells, and used the local buses to visit other villages along the coast before walking back. We highly recommend the site and will definitely return.

Been coming to Deepdale for over a decade, with the kids and now, without, in all seasons, particularly now we’ve got the camper van. Been to two of their festivals too. The staff are sooo friendly, the facilities top notch, and the place is our second home with the lovely shops and 2 great pubs. There are a walks a plenty and a great regular coastal bus too. If you like star gazing, there’s no light pollution and likewise plenty of wildlife. We came again in November 2023 for what is probably our third visit this year! The pitches are all good but serviced pitches are the best because of the views.

We stayed here last weekend. Had a great time, helped by some autumn sunshine. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The pitches are large. Shower facilities are fantastic. Everywhere is very clean. The system for electric hook up is great. Easy to load up credit on a tablet by the toilet block. You only pay for what you use and and any credit is refunded when you check out. Short walk to two local pubs, both dog friendly. There is a supermarket next to the site and the bus to wells next the sea stops right outside.

We phoned on the off chance of a late arrival and were accommodated at 6pm. Really warm and friendly reception, with lots of advice given on the local area, mostly pub related! We stayed in October but think a summer stay would be really lovely. Quite private.
