What an awesome, well configured space, and perfectly stocked with the right kit!

The location was brilliant for our little escape from the city and the accommodation and staff, Kerry and David, were just the loveliest and most helpful hosts.

The place was spotless when we arrived and looked exactly how advertised. With a couple of additional treats that we all enjoyed 😋

Both inside and outside there was enough table and chair space to make the place flexible, meaning it didn't feel cramped or tight. With even a little space under the hut to push pikes and scooters out of the rain (we took our own pop up tent for this, but didn't really need it).
There was plenty of cleaning equipment and replacements, so we could keep the place feeling fresh and tidy whilst there.

The staff were supportive and helpful with advice on where to go and replied/responded very promptly to every message and call before and during our stay.

100% recommend this place. P.S. We stayed in Squirrels Drey.

One little bit of advice is to stagger family shower times or take short showers as we didn't realise the little water heater tank ran out quite quickly, but once we knew, it was no problem.

Thank you Kerry and Dave.... Brilliant little holiday 😁

Pics of my boy washing the pots and both boys snuggled on the pull out sofa bed on the first night x

We’ve just got back from a fantastic weekend away, staying in the Badger’s Sett glamping pod at Lanterns Shepherds Huts and Glamping in Happisburgh.
We had such a lovely time and couldn’t have been more comfortable in the pod we stayed in.
When we arrived the pod was spotlessly clean, with attention to detail throughout including a kitchen with all the utensils and equipment you need, a modern and clean bathroom (with some fabulous toiletries included which smelt amazing!), tv, hairdryer, WiFi and a very comfortable bed. We thoroughly enjoyed the peanuts and M&Ms that we’re waiting for us as well as milk in the fridge and coffee, tea and sugar, which were a lovely added touch. There were even homemade dog biscuits provided for our dog, who was made to feel very welcome too! We really couldn’t have wanted any more!
Each pod and shepherds hut has its own table and benches outside too, so you can enjoy the tranquility of the setting, which is only a short walk or drive away from the lovely Happisburgh beach where you can see the stunning red and white lighthouse.
We would highly recommend Lanterns, when you visit North Norfolk, we had a great time, thank you for such a wonderful stay!

We were fortunate to be the first people to stay at Lanterns Shepherd's Huts and Glamping and we enjoyed a wonderfully peaceful weekend retreat, whilst visiting family nearby.
We stayed in The Foxes Den Pod and it had everything we needed. A comfortable bed, with crisp cotton sheets, a good size shower room with fluffy towels and a little well-fitted kitchen area with sink, fridge, hob, microwave, kettle and cafetiere. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk were also provided. There is a sofa bed and table and chairs too.
Large French doors meant we could bring in the light and breeze
There are only 2 pods and 2 shepherd's huts on the site, with plenty of space between them for privacy.
Each pod and hut has it's own dedicated parking space, so no worries about where to park.
This is a little gem, with country walks and the beach all close-by. We will definitely return to try out The Shepherd's Huts next time.
Thanks Kerry and Dave for a relaxing few days.

This was recommended by our friends and we booked the glamping pod as we had never stayed in one before but always wanted to experience it. We are delighted to say that this glamping break has been one of our most beautiful experiences. The location is remote and very peaceful, which made the break more charming. It’s just a stone’s throw from the stunning lighthouse, the beach and an amazing playground! You will find restaurants/takeaways/supermarkets within 10-15 minutes of the site. Loved the decor of the pod. It is also very well equipped-towels, toiletries, toilet rolls, tea, sugar, coffee, kitchen paper roll, torch, hairdryer, crockery, cutlery, cafetière, all provided. Little treats cheered us up too! Plenty of plug sockets which are more than adequate! A big bonus was the helpful and very prompt communication by the host, Kerry at all times, before and during the stay. David too has been ever so helpful! We loved gazing at the sky at night and enjoy the sounds of the waves! In the mornings, the chirping of the birds and lungfuls of fresh air were a great start! The parking space has fixed spaces dedicated to individual pods/huts. We visited Bewilderwood, the adventure park, during our stay and it’s only 20 minutes away from Lanterns. Thoroughly enjoyed the park and we would highly recommend it if the weather is nice and dry. We also did the Broads boat cruise, again situated within minutes of this location. There are plenty of attractions close to this location! Verdant countryside, peaceful villages, pretty scenery, gorgeous wildlife, stunning coastal walks/drives, historic buildings…we enjoyed them all during our Lanterns stay! Overall, we LOVED this amazing accommodation and would love to revisit as well as strongly recommend to others. Thank you Kerry and David! We made some beautiful memories here.

Squirrels Drey is a cosy shephers hut. Equipped with own shower room, microwave, electric hob, fridge amd sink. The hut has excellent under floor heating making it nice and cosy.

There are 2 steps up to the comfy kingaize bed, and a dining table pulls from underneath, with 2 small stools for seats.

There is a small sofa which can double as a pull out as a spare bed.

A small tv is also installed alongside some local guide books.

The kitchen is well equipped with cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.

A hairdryer and plenty of plug points are available. Towels are also provided.

Each plot has a designated parking spot.

The site is also walking distance to the lighthouse and village pub and is very quiet.

We were lucky enough to be the first guests at this small glamping site of just 2 Shepherd’s Huts and 2 pods. They have only just opened this weekend and I’m confident that they will be in high demand once word gets around. Kerry and David have created a peaceful little haven, tucked away in a little Lane.
Each pod and hut has it’s own kitchen, equipped with all that you need, including a fridge, hob and microwave. And that all-important decent sized en suite shower room.
We chose to stay in a pod, as I’m not so great with steps. It had a comfortable double bed and everything we needed for a quiet retreat whilst visiting family nearby.
This was our first trip away from home since lockdown and we felt totally safe staying here. Everything was exceptionally clean and perfect.
Each pod and hut has it’s own dedicated parking space and picnic bench.
Dogs are welcome in the pods, but not the huts.
This place is not about entertainment. It’s about peace and quiet.
We were given a sneak peek at the huts and I would say they probably have a little more space and one of them has a fold-away bed, so that you can create some extra space during the day. But each pod and hut is perfect in its own way.
Perfect for couples, but they also have a small sofa bed for a child’s or two.
We really enjoyed our stay.
If you like country walks, sea swims, bird watching, or simply a little time away from the hustle and bustle of life, then this is for you.

In good location, nearby sea and playground. We booked the hut and pod for 6 of us. The beds are comfortable and clean. Very well equipped with everything you need - tv, WiFi, fridge, kettle, hair dryer, pans, induction hob, microwave, etc. Also under floor heating that kept us all nice and warm at night 😊 Great size bathroom with very good shower.

A 3 night visit to this idyllic village at this perfectly situated and equipped glamping site has been everything we wanted. Squirrel's Drey was beautifully clean on arrival with so many perfect touches. Even our dog Minnie was thought about and well catered for. The site owners, Kerry and David are attentive and super friendly without being obtrusive. The location is amazing as it is only a 10 minute walk to an incredible beach. I cannot recommend this accommodation enough, but I'd really like to keep it as a secret and a perfect retreat!!! Kerry did set a challenge though and asked if there was something missing we should say; the only thing, and I am really picking hairs here, is a measuring jug. Great place, great break, gorgeous site. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Badgers Sett Pod from 13/9-18/9.I was extremely nervous about a vacation but I need not have been. The accommodation is spotless. There is everything that you could need, with a few extras. We found the shower to be absolutely fine, not sure why others didn't. The bed was very comfortable and the underfloor heating was a real bonus. The site is very well planned and is not over crowded. Just 2 Pods & 2 Shepherds huts. It is very peaceful.Without hesitation I would recommend this accommodation and will hopefully visit it again.
Thank you to the owners and the cleaners for making us feel so comfortable
