I didn’t rate the coffee or the solid shampoo + conditioner but my major bug bear was that with the spa suite you get 45mins in the hot tub. We went down, showered & got in, put on the jets & noticed all of this brown/grey scum gathering around the side. So firstly you know people aren’t showering before getting in but secondly if this is the case why aren’t the pigs staff checking & cleaning it out before the next user? How often is this water changed!? Grotty. Needless to say we only lasted 10mins, got out as soon as the muck became apparent.
The lighting in the bedroom was a bit dark, it would be good in future to be able to control the brightness/warmth/colour. As someone else mentioned the green light in the bedroom was on all night & was annoying, i put a t-shirt over my head in the end.
I think we will return later in the year & will definitely recommend to others but advise to not bother with the communal hot tub!
Everything else worthy of 5*
Our meal was really brilliant, the slow cooked lamb sharer was truly fantastic. The restaurant was pretty quiet though which was surprising.
My only feedback would be regarding the products in the room - there’s shampoo, and a shampoo/conditioner in one bar but could really do with some bottle conditioner with the regular shampoo. The bar is very drying and doesn’t condition at all so my hair was super dry afterward to go for dinner. Sounds very trivial but from a woman’s perspective it would have made a world of difference! All in all, a lovely stay and very happy.

Some decoration around the venue requires a refresh considering the price.
Overall - Go, you'll enjoy it. A little different from the norm.
Overall tho this is The best place we have ever stayed and I’m sure we will be back again in the future,
Evening meal we decided to try the Lifts we had 5 different ones the crab fish cakes were bland and you couldn’t even taste any crab, the chicken wings were just as bad, the other items were average nothing to shout out about.
Also no where really to sit to have a drink when we arrived so we had to take a drink to the room as there was no were to sit.
Breakfast nice selection of savoury items to choose from but would be nice for some more sweets items ie crossiants.we had a full English as well, my other half’s egg was over cooked and didn’t seem very fresh also the toast was burnt.
All in all would we return probably not as for £200 a night B and B it definitely wasn’t worth the money.
"For dog owners: there is a chiller in the rooms for milk, but sealed dog food containers can be stored in the milk fridge in the hallway."Read full review
