Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed at Breck farm whilst visiting son , the reception was brilliant, staff explained where we needed to go. (Social distancing was in place which was good to see). Found the shepherds hut we were staying in and was really pleased. It was decorated out really nice , lovely bedding on the bed and bunting round the ceiling. It had a fridge , kettle , couple lamps and tea and coffee making facilities. Outside has a large deck area also a picnic table , barbecue and a fire pit. On arrival there is a welcome pack which has wood and charcoal and bottled water. The shower block was not too far away it had facilities so you can dry your hair after your shower(again social distancing in place) shower block was cleaned and stocked up everyday which was good too see. There is a food van on site everyday if you don’t want to cook or go out for food. The atmosphere on site was really nice. Overall I would def recommend Breck farm if you want a good proper camping holiday.

The location and the actual camping fields are lovely, nice and flat etc. Toilets were clean, although a good clear out of cobwebs wouldn't hurt. Showers were hot and had good pressure, although these were 50p tokens per 6 gallons.

However, there is no enforcement of any sort of Covid measures at all. Hand sanitiser is provided at entry to toilet block and receiption, but its not actually sinister its normal soap. Which without water leaves your hands horrible, I assume this is why others didn't bother using it as it was unpleasant.

Generally, this place has great potential, but I think it needs some TLC from the owners.

What can I say.
Perfect weather, perfect location. Very good facilities. Now the showers are included so even better than last year.
My wife and I stayed here from the 17/7 and had a great time. After the weekend the place emptied out and it was perfect.
As it was before the school holidays started I am not going to criticise the lack of food trucks you just need to realise they are businesses as well and need the customers.
As much antibac as you could want even sprays to clean the taps during and after use.
Great to be able to have a camp fire. The shop has everything you need even a campingaz cylinder when we ran out. They even apologised for being a bit expensive but it was our fault not theirs.
I really cannot fault the place, but some of the other campers need to be more considerate when they use the facilities say clean down after themselves in the wash rooms.

Thanks again and see you next year.

Staff member who greeted us when we arrived was friendly and helpful and we were directed to either field, we opted for the ‘9pm quiet’ field and pitched our tent taking into consideration those near us leaving plenty of space. Toilet and shower block had hand sanitiser with signage as you entered, not many did sanitise their hands! Block was not fully closed to clean and a quick spray and wipe took place in between people still using the block. Went out for the morning and came back to a large group of two caravans, a camper, tent and marquee or two parked right next to our pitch leaving just enough room for the car. Not such a quiet field! My opinion was that in the current pandemic the site was over booked and the facilities were not cleaned to the correct standard, spacing of pitches, although you could pitch where you like were not monitored and the site did not care. Electric pitches were crammed together. On a positive note the food van was excellent but we shall not be returning

I went here on a weekends camping trip with my wife and family.
We were on a non electric pitch so we were allowed to have fires and bbq's.
The camping site is basic but does have clean shower and toilet blocks, a food van every morning and evening, farm animals you can go to see and a shop on site.
We went out everyday to nearby towns and for walks so would recommend this site if thats somthing your looking to do.
We stayed during covid19. The cleaners were really good, mostly everytime we were in the toilet and shower blocks there was someone there cleaning.
Would definitely recommend this site, good value for money.

We had a wonderful time at Breck Farm. Although I normally go to small certified sites this was fabulous and peaceful. Very friendly, especially the warden Duncan and the owners who run the little shop selling fresh eggs, farm sausages and basics. 100 Acre Wood is on the edge of the field and you can get lost in there, it's magical with rope swings etc for the children. Perfect for the beach just a short drive to the coast, Mundesley was our favourite, sheltered for beach bbq, lovely sand. You can see the farm animals and it is the most restful place to be with all facilities you would expect, we did not use showers or toilets as they were closed due to covid as with all sites at that time. Read some reviews saying tight entrance but I thought it was fine, I am a woman towing a 21ft caravan and it was not a problem entering or exiting the campsite. Large choice of pitches with easy access. I would certainly return.

Booking - Happy to help as always and was able to add an extra day.

Arrival - We had to wait in a distance queue, there was a member of staff on another table taking cash or online bookings. Was informed what fields there was to pitch in and to keep 3m apart.

Facilities A food van on most nights at around £6 a meal and there is a breakfast van for the mornings.
Yes the showers and toilets could do with a revamp but they serve a good purpose and there are plenty. My main issue would be that there is nowhere to put clothes and sit down.
Camp fires are allowed and there is a beautiful forest for walks.
The shop sells a small amount of goods if needed.

You can walk to The Ship Inn in Weybourne and visit the pebble beach but most places are a drive away.

We have never had any issues with the staff or the venue and will be returning.

This was our 4th visit to Breck Farm and once again it did not disappoint. It is a family friendly campsite and overall a very laid back experience. I have seen reviews complaining about the fact that you are not told where to pitch up but we view this as a positive. That way you can choose wherever you would like to camp.
The staff we encountered we all very friendly and helpful. We complained about a group of campers near us who were very noisy one night and the group was dealt with immediately. Breck Farm is very laid back, the field we camped in was no noise after 10pm but there is a quieter field which is no noise after 9pm. They ensure that they check this. Having said this they don't mind quiet conversation after this time.
We especially love the fact that you are allowed fires and that you have the woodland nearby with lots of handmade swings. It's great for the kids to explore. A new addition this year are the goats and pigs in the corner of the quiet field which my daughter absolutely fell in love with. You are allowed to go in and feed the goats at set times and the member of staff dealing with this was very friendly.
The facilities are basic but there's everything you need and I saw daily cleaning take place.
We'll be back again next year!

We visited Breck Farm in August, booking a specific pitch within the electric hook-up areas (non-electric pitches are not marked out)

Upon arrival, we checked in at reception and were greeted by two friendly workers. Check in was quick, and our camping pitch was easy to locate. The reception was also a small shop which came handy a few times during our stay; we purchased items such as water, milk and bacon for a reasonable price

Our pitch was a short distance away from the shower/toilet blocks. The shower/toilet blocks were relatively clean, however the sink area was always covered in water so you couldn't place down your wash bags without them getting soaked. The showers became very hot, I'm not sure this is safe for children

During the evening we noticed security driving around but never came into contact with them. At night the site was fairly quiet, however the site became more busy and noisy from Friday as more people arrived to stay over the weekend

I would visit Breck Farm again

Ok we got lucky with the weather that always helps. Great site , very relaxed , staff polite and friendly no issues with noise nearby but further afield we could here Music which may have been a pain if closer. I suppose people want a bit more nowadays so the shower block was adequate and the water hot it was a bit dated and didn’t really see much of a cleaning regime especially in these times . The site is lovely and spacious however some areas need a grass cut especially the Fire stations ( Water Butts) The site is a great base for visiting the nearby coast and Towns. Some small negatives but we hopefully be back next year.
