It was a lovely b and b. Only met the man of the house and he was very welcoming and helpful. We stayed in room 3 which was lovely. Only problem 🥺 the door to the bathroom will not close properly so even with long term couples it's still a little 😳. We all need privacy at times. We had a vegan and vegetarian breakfast. Both ok but we felt maybe a little more on the plate would have been good. Our sausage looked rather lonely. Perhaps another sausage or hash brown. We don't eat meat but we do like a nice filling breakfast ☺️ The meat eaters all had a plate "full" A lovely place all very clean, bright and airy. Would definitely recommend vegans and vegetarians to try it.
Fabulous B&B, clean, spacious, tastefully furnished and comfortable bed. Breakfasts were tasty, there is free parking and Richard, the owner was helpful and welcoming. The location is excellent too- seconds by foot from the beach and shops, and good place to explore the key tourist attractions in Northern Norfolk.
The flat has many very good qualities - central, but quiet location, well equipped, excellent decor and new, gleaming kitchen and bathroom. But some things are not so good - TWO very steep and awkward flights of stairs (one of which is an external steel fire escape); extremely heavy fire doors throughout (why are FIRE doors needed throughout the flat?); the advertised wifi broke down after two days and remained so despite a call to the the owner, a voicemail and an email. The check-out instructions were to "leave the flat as we had found it" and "strip the bed". All very ironic as the earliest check-in time was 4pm and the latest departure time was 9am. What was the cleaner doing in these 7 hours?
This is a fantastic place. Having never really stayed in a B&B before I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was in awe of how wonderful this place really is. The hosts are welcoming and friendly, the rooms are spacious, immaculate and the beds comfortable. The smell of a lovely cooked breakfast fills the house as you awake in the morning and it tastes just as good as it smells! Location is perfect for exploring the quaint town that is Hunstanton!
Our second stay here but our first visit with Richard & Nicola as the new owners. Very comfortable room with everything you need. Lovely toiletries & a corkscrew & wine glasses provided in the room so you can enjoy a drink. There is a guest fridge in dining room which is useful. Lovely breakfasts, loved tge sausage & bacon, very tasty. Loved our stay & wouldn't hesitate to return.
We spent 4 nights at the Ellinbrook, which is perfectly placed to explore the North Norfolk coast and surrounding visitor attractions such as Sandringham, Little Walsingham and Pensthorpe. The welcome was warm and friendly, the room was extremely comfortable and clean, and the breakfasts were fabulous, and tailored to our individual requirements. We have enjoyed our stay so much we are returning again in August!
What a lovely guesthouse! It is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated and well equipped. Richard and Nicola are great hosts. The breakfast are very tasty with all tastes catered for. Would definitely recommend.
We only stayed one night but will definitely be back. Lovely clean and cosy room. Had everything you needed, even down to a hot water bottle. Decor was beautiful. The full breakfast was superb, especially the sausage and bacon, very tasty. Would definitely recommend for a weekend away.
Just returned from 2 nights at this little gem.... Spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed.... Excellent breakfast..... Cant fault a single thing it was just perfect for our little getaway.... Many thanks would highly recommend staying here
Cannot sing the praises of Ellinbrook highly enough. I received such a friendly welcome, my room was lovely, modern and well equipped. The guest house is well situated close to the town centre. My request for a particularly early breakfast wasn’t a problem at all. I highly recommend staying here.
