Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This seaside B&B has an unusual arrangement. The rooms are like chalets in the back garden. Very comfortable, nicely furnished. You can breakfast in the garden or in the house. Breakfast was fine. Good value.

I have just spent two nights at Ashleigh Lodge while playing in a croquet tournament just round the corner. John and Liz were most welcoming, I had a spotlessly clean room in the main house, and my breakfasts were absolutely wonderful. It is a short walk into the town and seafront. I would thoroughly recommend it. The chalets in the garden looked very cosy.

The accommodation was really good and comfortable and had the addition of a garden where you could sit and enjoy other peoples company and even breakfast if that's what you fancy. The breakfast couldn't be bettered. There was a very wide choice ranging from a full English through fresh fruit to toast and cereal. Wonderful. All overseen by our lovely, welcoming hosts John and Liz.

One of the best breakfasts we have had staying in guest houses and hotels!! Breakfast freshly cooked and delicious, nothing was too much for John and Liz who run the place and would definitely recommend and we will definitely go back for another stay

Ashleigh Lodge was easy to find, and once there it was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. John & Liz made us all feel truly welcome. The lodge was impressive immaculate and intimate , it was like home from home. The ‘piece de resistance’ was the wonderful breakfast which we all enjoyed as well as any we have ever had. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting Hunstanton.

Lovely room with plenty of extras. Breakfast choice was amazing, and the food was presented and cooked perfectly. The hosts, John and Liz, were very friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. The ceiling fan in the room was a welcome addition. I recommend it. We had a lovely time and wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.

I spent two nights in room 1 with my husband. First impressions were excellent, the room opens straight onto the garden which is lovely. The hosts are so friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean, with plenty of tea and coffee and fresh milk in the fridge. The location is wonderful, walking distance to the beach, town and coastal path. Breakfast was outstanding, the eggs benadict in particular were wonderful. We had a lovely weekend, and would highly recommend.
