Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Booked on a recommendation and very satisfied. Already booked again. Lovely house and first class room/ensuite. Full of memorabilia and books to graze on, and fascinating stories from the host. I don't need to say more, but need 200 characters.

Wonderful breakfast, served up in a dining room surrounded by a myriad of treasures collected by Ian over the years......Absolutely fascinating!! Great B&B, Martyn who runs it was formerly an AA Hotel Inspector. He certainly knows how to run a B&B, little details like turning back the bedding back on the very comfy bed ready for us tired travellers to hop into it. A very good breakfast is provided using quality local food and four different home made marmalades. He even provides bath robes and slippers.

Room Tip: We had the Salisbury - faces the main road but it is very quiet at night. Plenty of guest parking...

Four of us came to North Walsham to surprise a friend and we all really enjoyed our stay at the coach house. It really is a perfect B&B. The building is a lovely, quirky place which Ian and Sarah renovated over the years they've been there and they really have done a great job. Our room was beautiful with everything you could need. We had use of the large and well laid out lounge, we only wish it was cold enough to warrant lighting the wood burner! The place was very clean and tidy and filled with fascinating 50's memorabilia. Our breakfast was spot on and Ian was the perfect host - really friendly, chatty and knowledgable.

In short, we really enjoyed our stay at the coach house and it made the 5:30 hour drive from Cardiff seem more bearable!

We've just spent a lovely night at the Coach House. The owner, Ian was so welcoming and accommodating - very engagingnteresting and easy to deal with. The room we had was spacious, spotless, comfortable and well furnished. Added bonus was use of a large downstairs living room. It's a pleasure to stay somewhere like this. Very well priced to boot. Be sure to book nearby for dinner if travelling on the weekend in peak season as North Walsham is a bit limited.

My partner and I stayed here in April for just the one night, as part of a family trip, and wished we could've stayed longer.

The building and gardens are beautiful - as soon as we arrived we knew we'd come somewhere special. We were warmly welcomed by the owners and made a big pot of tea whilst we put our bags away, making us feel instantly at home. There is a lovely living area downstairs which guests are free to use, which was a nice area to relax in after a long walk on the nearby beaches.

The room itself was beautifully furnished and spotless, with lots of lovely little touches like fresh daffodils in the bedroom.

The owner Ian was so kind and helpful, offering lots of useful advice on the local area. As well as the pots of tea throughout our stay, he cooked us up a fab big breakfast of bacon and eggs, with lots of other options on offer too (cereals, yoghurt, fresh blueberries etc).

This place was everything we were looking for and more, especially given the great price. We will definitely return!

This is quite the best B&B imaginable. The welcome is genuine and the ensuite rooms are spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The breakfast was comprehensive and excellent with everything cooked to order. The building itself is full of character and the large sitting room with open fireplace is a fascinating pandora's box of memoribillia and interesting book titles. The hosts are a mine of local information. This was the second time we have stayed here and will not be the last! There are only two rooms so as a family group it is almost like having a cottage for yourself only with breakfast cooked for you.

We stayed here with our 14 year old daughter for two nights and cannot speak highly enough of the welcome we received. We loved our rooms, the bathrobes, the books and the fact we were able to use the wonderful sitting room and make our own cups of tea in the kitchen! The breakfasts were delicious and all the more enjoyable because we could choose the time we ate. We definitely plan to return next year, if not sooner.

We (two couples) recently spent a weekend in the Coach House in North Walsham.Over the years we have been in quite a few B&Bs,spending weekends exploring places. This B&B is absolutely outstanding. The welcome could not have been warmer. There was tea and cake and lots of advise what could be done in the area. The rooms are charming, clean and very comfortable. We could even use the lounge downstairs, where we could have lit a fire had it been cold enough.Breakfast was fantastic and we could choose when we wanted it.Our friends went back there with relatives from Australia who also loved it.
The price is modest taking into account what value you get for it.
We will all go back in November and light the fire this time!

Warm welcome, comfortable lounge, lovely room, top notch breakfast - what more can you ask for?! Can't recommend the Coach House highly enough if looking for a cosy place to stay in the area. Best B&B I've ever stayed in.
