Booked here not knowing what it was like, but we love Norfolk and it seemed a nice place. When we arrived the deaf were so welcoming and helpful, and this continued throughput our stay, and it very dog friendly which helps, especially when your dog is as needy as mine is! The accommodation is lovely, just the right size and nicely furnished, there are also electrical sockets everywhere which made a refreshing change from having to hunt for one. Its also nice to have a bath and a shower, so you have the choice. The grounds of Broom Hall are immaculate and there's lots of them, it was very nice to walk the dog around them and enjoy the country air, rare to get grounds as large as at Broom Hall so another nice change form other places. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and well cooked, the variety is also nice. All in all it was a wonderful stay and we have already booked our next visit here.

I just came back from a three day work based stay at Broom Hall. It certainly made a change from the usual chain hotels I normally end up staying in. Broom Hall is a beautiful Edwardian built hotel and restaurant, set in peaceful and beautiful green surroundings. The food was fantastic and good value for money, with a good vegetarian selection too, which was a real bonus. Compliments to the chef for my Asparagus and Wild Mushroom Risotto! The staff were helpful, polite and eager to please. My room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Lastly, the owner Jason was friendly and helpful, in fact, he couldn't have done any more to make my stay as pleasant as possible. I recommend this hotel most highly.

After extensive, beautiful redecoration, this hotel continues to delight with it's friendly, inviting atmosphere and delicious food.. Highly recommended for a casual or special experience with a choice of dining in the beautiful dining room or on on the terrace. Try the afternoon tea for a special treat.

We have just been to the Hall for an evening meal. Our first meal out since lock down and thought we should keep it local rather than going to Norwich etc. What a disappointment! Meal was made up of 1 x burger meal (very nice) and 3 x cheese/bacon and chips (tasty but small portions), we could live with that but we had 2 deserts, 'Plate of fruit' made up of 3 strawberries cut in half, 6 raspberry's and maybe 6 blue berry's! The other desert was 2 x tiny cakes and 1 small blob of ice cream!!! Total bill £75.00!!! (including £28 of drinks) Fruit desert was £6.50! Summary...nice staff and location, food tasty but way way too pricey so doubt we will return to be fair. For the record we did say this and was advised that they would let the chef know. Oh and to add insult to injury another reason to go was we need Gluten free options and saw their menu. Turns out this is a 'DEMO' menu!!! even though it's on their website and Facebook page, honestly.

Went to Broom Hall with a friend for afternoon tea and we both wished we had saved our money. We sat in the conservatory over looking a very untidy garden, long overgrown grass and flower bed overgrown with weeds. In the conservatory padded seating from the outside furniture was piled up not far from us. The table wasn't set out nicely just plates and cutlery dumped down infront of us for us to sort out! We were not offered the Prosecco that was advertised and when the food came what a disappointment, when we booked we had read the menu on line which clearly stated prawn sandwiches, well we didn't get these instead we got twice the amount of cheese and pickle and normal amount of ham and mustard, with no explanation or apology as to why? No one explained what all the tiny little cakes were, the cream and jam horns had no jam in them, the scones were too big for afternoon tea and just crumbled into a dry heap when you tried to cut them open. We had to ask for jam for the scones and more butter, we had to ask for more tea as none was offered. It was a very disappointing and unprofessional experience. I didn't want to make a fuss and spoil my friends birthday any further so when I got home I emailed them with the above complaints, they didn't have the manners to reply or decency to apologise. Broom Hall I suggest you leave Afternoon Tea to establishments that know what they are doing.
