Fortunately when searching the net we found the decent B&B's in our first choice of towns on the north Norfolk coast to visit for a weekend, Wells, were full so we looked at Sheringham and discovered this place. Thank you Wells for being busy! Ashbourne House is in a great location in the town, a quiet spot but within 2... More

Just stayed at Ashbourne House for third year running and it's still by far the best B&B I have visited, ANYWHERE ! Beautiful house with fantastic decor, furniture and fittings. It doesn't stop outside either as you're faced with a stunning back garden that takes your breath away. Lovely attention to detail everywhere you look. A great choice of items... More

Such a beautiful house, and perfect hosts! We had a beautiful room overlooking the front garden which included a view of the town. Lots of luxuries such as bathrobes, a bottle of water each day, teasmade, separate seating area, & loads of shelves/cupboard space in the bathroom. The breakfast was served in the very elegant dining room overlooking the fabulous... More

I visited last year and forgot to write a review. The hotel location is perfect. The people were to very welcoming, and the house is stunning. Breakfast was superb in a gorgeous dinning room. This is a loved house which translates with every moment there. This is more than a B & B, so if you want more than the... More

I booked well in advance via the telephone where I explained I was bringing my elderly parents to celebrate their 80th birthdays. The owner was most helpful offering us her two 'best rooms' as she put it; she advised me she had no other booking for that April weekend. The room with the turret and the garden view room. Obviously I... More

Stayed for three nights in may and were very please with the room endeavour which was light and airy and we'll serviced daily. The breakfast was fresh cooked and very plentiful, the whole stay was excellent and we will be returning as soon as possible.

My husband and I have just returned from a two night stay in this delightful property. It is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated throughout and with lots of special little touches makes Ashbourne House quite special. Gill, the owner, is very gracious and we were welcomed with a glass of sherry after she had shown us to our room. We stayed... More

Stayed here in 2011, so surprised that it has flashed up for me to leave a review today - 24/3/16 :-) But, it is a very well kept guest house with lovely comfy bed and great courtesy tray offering a fantastic breakfast which has stayed in our memory so much so that we will be making a return during 2017... We stayed at Ashbourne House for two nights in March 2016, and I really can't speak highly enough about the place. I have mobility issues and was a bit reluctant about the steps to get up to the property, however, there is a very sturdy handrail all the way up - and after dark when using the steps an automatic...
