Burlington Berties Boutique Hotel is lauded for its exceptional value, marrying high-quality service with well-appointed rooms, though a few guests deem the prices steep. The hotel's atmosphere charms many with its cozy, sophisticated decor and a warm reception, yet one critic desired more opulence. Its prime location, close to attractions and transportation, comes with the bonus of free parking, a detail travelers greatly appreciate.
Guests commend the spotless and comfortable rooms, alongside the hotel's stringent cleanliness standards. Detailed Reviews
The hotel was lovely it had many a quaint little extras to add to the little touches. The staff were helpful and the breakfast choice was amazing, anything you would want was there and all freshly made
The location was perfect to go for walks within Sheringham and to walk through to Cromer. The main area for restaurants and bars was also only a 5 minute walk away
This was a perfect hotel for our quiet getaway
The hotel was COVID safe with all staff wearing visors or masks and each room had its own table reserved. There was hand sanitiser stations throughout as well

We had 3 nights at Burlington Berties in July staying in the Aldwych room which was on the 2nd floor and very clean with adequate wardrobe space and comfortable beds. The shower room, although small, was adequate with a nice shower and huge soft towels! The breakfasts were excellent with a nice choice from the menu and cereals, toast etc. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room and there was a nice touch in the room of some lovely home made flapjack and jelly babies!
The WiFi was non existent in our room and the tv was tuned to Yorkshire / Lincolnshire so no local news or weather forecasts!
The car parking was a little tight but when full you can park on the road outside.

Just Couple nights stay at this fab Hotel, themed around the song made famous by Music Hall artiste Vesta Tilley, and had rooms named after Famous Theatres…we stayed in The Adelphi suite, clean and comfortable.
We loved the decor with Piano and plenty of artwork, mirrors and quirky details..The breakfast choice was excellent and cooked beautifully, service by the young ladies was quick and friendly. Sally and Joanna have a place to be proud of and we hope to be back one day soon…

It is our annual tradition to visit Sheringham and without hesitation we always book here.
Jan and her team at Burlington Berties are the most welcoming, the most accommodating and the most friendliest and professional people you could ever meet.
Be completely assured that during this awful COVID-19 pandemic, every measure has been taken to ensure all precautions are in place and as ever, the hotel and room is spotlessly clean.
You will be sent detailed information prior to your visit regarding the new procedures in place and on arrival you will be allocated your 'own table' for breakfast which you keep for the duration of your stay.
I have left detailed reviews before and confirm the special touches like the homemade flapjacks and jellied sweets are still left in your room each day.
Our suite (The Strand) is beautifully decorated and so comfortable, with a lovely view to the front of the property and garden.
The breakfast is absolutely one of the best. Be prepared for a vast choice and wear something with an elasticated waist - you will need it!
One of the very special things about staying at Burlington Berties, it that you are truly remembered by staff when returning. We also see the same returning guests, which goes to show others feel exactly the same as we do.
Be sure to catch the sunset over the sea when staying in Sheringham. We were treated to an absolute stunner on our last evening and it was a dream to photograph.
I have uploaded several photos to help share all the wonderful points I have made and demonstrate our appreciation and love for our wonderful time here.
Next year's stay is already booked!

We stayed here last year and loved every minute so booked a couple of days over Easter. When we pulled into the car park it was clear renovations had been undertaken with spaces now marked out and a fresh coat of paint to the rendering on the outside underway .. however when we walked inside the scale of the renovations was breath taking. The entrance hall is bright, stylish and homely and the warm welcome was lovely. We were then shown to our drury lane room which was freshly decorated with a stunning newly renovated bathroom with free standing bath (wow) :-)
We then went out to enjoy our day only to return and have the most relaxing evening and wonderful nights sleep. Now for the breakfast in the new restaurant where you can watch your breakfast being prepared … you guessed it delicious, good quality ingredients cooked to perfection.
We stayed 2 nights and didn’t use the car once the beach is less than a 5 minute stroll as is Sherringham shops, restaurants and pubs.
A perfect break with the perfect hotel at the heart of it , well down Burlington’s see you again soon !

We booked for two nights b&b stay, the second day being our wedding anniversary.
The premises have undergone a recent refurbishment and upgrades.
Joanna and Sally were most welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.
Our room was excellent. In fact, one of the quietest nights spent in any hotel these past few years. Breakfast was served 0815 to 0930 and catered for all tastes. My preference being fruit juice, cereal and the full English breakfast. Quality ingredients are used throughout. Of special note, my bacon being thick cut and full of flavour. Not like some anaemic, fatty specimens I have had served elsewhere in the past!
Joanna is the perfect host and Sally is always kept busy cooking great food to order. No microwave "ping" heard here! They had an assistant to help out, who was most helpful as well.
Location is in a quiet area about 3 or4 minutes from the beach and about 6 minutes from North Norfolk Railway station, of which we are both members. It is about a 4 minute walk into the town centre area situated along the main street.
All estimated at a leisurely walking pace.
A private car park on the front drive is available for guests. The residence is situated just a small distance back from the road, which is in a quiet residential area.
We look forward to booking a return stay when we are next in Sheringham.
Thank you one and all for such a memorable stay!

An amazing themed hotel with the best of breakfasts. It was very COVID safe with hand sanitizers & cold water dispensers on every floor. Within walking distance of the high street & the station. The owners made you feel very welcome. We will definitely make a return visit.

Simply Fabulous Stay!
Wow such a stunning hotel in amazing location only a few minutes walk to the sea front.
The room was quite, extremely comfortable and a great nights sleep was had by us both, followed by the most mouth watering breakfast in the cutest of settings overlooking the garden.
The hotel had really beautiful little touches with stunning art work and decoration throughout.
The new owners Sally & Joanna were both friendly, inviting and no request was too big an ask, even helping me with my luggage.
The local area is breathtaking beautiful with so many things to see, things to do, food and drink to enjoy and an array of local shops and provisions.
Our only disappointment is that we ran out of time to do everything in our 3 day stay, can’t wait to come back.
Well done to everybody at Burlington’s you didn’t disappoint, Thankyou for our wonderful stay.

We have just returned from an amazing stay at this hotel. Every tiny detail was taken care of for us to make our stay a special one.
The location of the hotel is perfect for whatever your plans are. A 2 min walk to the beach, a 2 min walk to the golf course and a 5 min walk to town centre make it ideally situated for all kinds of travellers.
The hotel has recently had an extensive refurbishment that encompasses the ethos and vision of its owners.
The lobby, dining room and ALL of the rooms have been refurbished to an impeccable standard. This also includes the bathrooms along with the facilities to ensure constant supply of hot water, heating and fast internet access when needed.
We stayed in the Shaftesbury suite. It was luxurious, spacious and had an amazing bathroom. The room had a dual aspect view over the beautiful gardens of the hotel.
Breakfast ranks among the best I have ever had at any hotel. The menu offers everything you could want and the quality of the local fresh produce was excellent. The chef was also happy to accommodate any requests you may have.
The management of the hotel were knowledgeable about local places to visit and places to dine along with supporting with any requests that you may have. All of the staff of the hotel were polite and provided superb service.
We are looking forward to returning asap to this stunning boutique hotel.

We've just returned from a (sadly) one night break to celebrate our anniversary. On booking Sophie apologised they only had their smallest room, The Garrick available. Absolutely no need to apologise. It was superb. Fabulously designed. Attention to detail. Nothing missed. My husband was thrilled that we had a small jar of sweets on our bed!!
The food in their newly opened restaurant looked amazing so did the aromas as it passed by. We enjoyed a couple (or three!) of Gin Fizz cocktails made with their own exclusive North42 Gin before heading out to meet our friend in Sheringham. Breakfast was superb served on their own Monogrammed China in the tastefully designed dining room. Everyone received a friendly greeting as they entered the dining room by Sally and her assistant. (sorry I didnt get her name). We plan to return but for a longer stay next time and to enjoy the delights cooked by Matt and Joanna in the open plan kitchen. Well done Everyone. Thank you for making our anniversary amazing. Carole and Geoff

Hi we stayed in the Adelphi room which was a really big room with a step down to a separate toilet, shower cubicle and wash hand basin. There was an area with mirrors which could be used as a dressing room. We would definitely stay here again and ask for the same room.
