Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Everything during our stay was lovely , from our room , to breakfasts and everyone there who looked after us .. Food was scrummy and our room was so comfy and spotless , with views of the sea from our window ( The Aldwych room ) we couldn’t have asked for anything more , the gin bar in the garden was fab 😃 Will definitely be back 😃

A truly immaculate hotel, warm and inviting run by people who care. The food is first class and presented in a slightly different but appetizing way. Comfortable and nicely decorated the Burlington has that cozy feel so lacking in many hotels.

An immaculate hotel with a lovely spacious bedroom. Excellent breakfast and evening meal. And a newly opened stylish cocktail lounge. Great attention to detail while remaining very friendly and welcoming. A wonderful place for a short break in Norfolk.

Just returned from our 3rd trip of the year and also looking forward to our planned December visit. Sheringham was never on our staycation to do list until Sally & Joanna took over Burlington Bertie’s. Whilst the initial attraction was the restaurant (see my seperate review) Burlington Bertie’s and Sheringham have won our hearts. Beautiful B&B with rooms recently refurbished to a very high standard. The gin garden in the summer is stunning - a street away from the sea, sun shining and gin on tap what more could you ask for? Likely something for when the sun isn’t shining - the newly opened wine and cocktail lounge. Done out to an exceptional standard with a very inviting log burner. Beautiful. Breakfast features the best of Norfolk local produce cooked to perfection the only problem is the dilemma between the full Norfolk breakfast or the smoked haddock! Highly recommended. Top of its game in Sheringham.

Lovely to find an independent hotel run by people that know what they’re doing. Ideally placed for both the station and beach but quiet location. Great gin too, I would have bought a bottle but no room in suitcase so guess I’ll have to head to the London supplier - good luck with the cocktail bar opening!

What a fabulous find. Rooms are beautifully decorated, food fabulous. Hosts are so welcoming. Highly recommend that you visit this boutique hotel. If you like steak, you HAVE to try it. Beautifully cooked and rested. Melted like butter in my mouth. Breakfasts are delicious. Nothing is too much trouble. Thank you to all ❤️❤️❤️
