My husband and I have stayed here several times now. It is always a very relaxing break. Perfect location for getting to surrounding villages such as Brancaster, Holkham, Holt, Wells-next-the-sea, Blakney and many more! The hotel itself is very warm and inviting. The staff always very friendly and food to a very high standard. There is also a great wine...

My partner booked the hotel for Valentines weekend after a visit several weeks earlier, where we sat and had a lovely lunch and glass of wine. He was shown a room and was very happy with it. We told them we would have our dog with us, and were then told that the room would not be one of their...

We returned to Briarfields for the 4th time last weekend and had a lovely time, as always. We ve been to this hotel more than any other as it ticks all the boxes. The staff are always friendly and willing to help. However, on this visit we did notice the Breakfast service was a little disorganized (Very Unusual!) The food...

The public areas of this hotel are superb - wood burning stoves, comfortable sofas and all divided into smallish areas meaning there is always a quiet corner somewhere. The vegetarian choice in the restaurant was very good - vegetable tagine - a little different from the more boring choices such as risotto or pasta. There were about 12 main course...

We enjoyed our weekend at the Briarfields where the bright, airy decor is nicely balanced by cosy corners and wood burners BUT we didn't feel it deserved the five stars some people have awarded it. Yes, it's very pleasant, the staff are attentive and friendly, the food is ok and our room was comfortable. However it has a slightly basic...

Thank you for reviewing your recent stay. I am sorry that you didn't feel we were a place you could enjoy a relaxing weekend. I find this comment surprising, however, considering how much praise you have for our bright and airy decor, cosy corners and wood burners. In fact, you haven't provided me with any details as to why you...

What a wonderful hotel. Attentive, friendly staff, warm, cosy and well furnished rooms and fantastic food. Stayed for three nights and found every moment 100% satisfactory. The only negative I have was the hotel signage which I felt was not in keeping with the building or the area although driving along it certainly attracts your attention. Would we go back...
