Stayed one night on a business trip. The lovely owners were so friendly and welcoming it made me feel at ease as a single female. The room and the whole house are immaculate, beyond expectations, there was not a spot of dust to be found anywhere. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of it, temperature...

We stayed a night after the first place we booked messed up and referred us. Great B&B - Very friendly and great if you have kids. Very comfortable bed, superb shower and an excellent breakfast. What else do you need ?

We stayed for two nights for a wedding. For a bed and breakfast it's very good. Clean and tidy, not very modern but everything works well. Breakfast is very good and the owners are very kind and friendly.

We were going to a friends party and at the last moment we decided to go to a hotel instead of staying with friends and came across this place. Friendly service and they went above and beyond what was required as when we booked and told them why they offered to book outward and return taxis in advance of or...

Avalon Farm is home from home, the warm welcome and friendly atmosphere are relaxing - the guests blend in and usually all talk to each other relating their outings and asking for information, though if you wish to keep private that's possible too! The rooms are all clean and comfortable and the breakfasts are excellent. The pleasant rural surroundings make...

Booked 4 rooms for a couple of nights as we were attending a family wedding at Barnham Broom about 10 miles away. Do not usually do B&B so perhaps we were a bit surprised by casual arrival procedure. However, rooms were clean and nicely furnished and the beds quite comfortable. Our TV reception was poor, but when we mentioned it...

This really is a hidden jewel in the crown. Our booking at another excellent B & B had a problem and this one was recommended to us. Having traveled some 150 miles in heavy traffic we were not to keen to go hunting. Surprise surprise. the Avalon was everything we could wish for . A warm welcome by our hosts...

I agree with the previous reviewer, this B&B really is a home from home. The owners Ali & Gerald go the extra mile to ensure you have a lovely relaxing stay in spotlessly clean well appointed rooms. There is a lovely garden to sit in when the sun shines or a large conservatory when it doesn't. With plenty of choice...

I never write reviews, but felt I just had to because I had such a great experience... Spotlessly clean, lovely decor, with a calm and relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious and the owners were not even thrown when I said that I was gluten intolerant. Mr and Mrs Reynolds were warm, friendly, extremely accommodating and such genuinely kind and...

This Bed and Breakfast is owned and run by the most genuine of people, it was a pleasure to be one of their guests. That aside it was also spotless clean, very good value for money and the breakfast was to a very high standard, using only the best of ingredients and local produce. Thank You. Michael Downes.
