Arrived for Sunday Lunch about 3pm no one else in bar but us. Ordered 2 roast dinners , Lamb and Beef. Service was fast but couldn't tell which was Beef and which was Lamb, both tasted the same. Beef was just thin strips and tasted of nothing , I had about 7 thin strips. Partner had Lamb which was very...

Stopped in on my way through and ordered an orange juice from the elderly Italian man who told me it was his place. Got a half pint with no ice that was only just past half full. He put it on the counter and without any irony said 'Three pounds'. I refused to pay and he told me that was...

I picked up my wife from East Grinstead Station after she had endured a two and a half hour train journey due to the Southern Rail strike action. She was stressed out and asked if we could stop for a drink to unwind on the way home. Unfortunately, as this pub was enroute, we stopped here. The service could hardly...

Came here 1 year ago after visiting Sheffield park, and it was the best Sunday roast I ever had. Now it's just lost all its character. When you first walk in (even on a Sunday when I went) the place was empty, with only one person talking, who turned out to be the manager. The place is a very old...

This has to be the worst hotel I have EVER stayed at. At £100 for one night, it is also the most overpriced for just a bed. The price was meant to include full English breakfast, but this was not given. The "continental" breakfast was soggy toast, a mini box of cereal and a plain yoghurt from the tatty old...

When we arrived at 2pm there was not a soul to be seen and the hotel was in darkness. I called and shouted but still no one appeared. When I walked outside a lady eating a burger and chips jumped up and with a mouth full of food mumbled "hello!". She could tell by my reaction I was unimpressed with...

- very bad food - disgusting loacation - bad parking - bad service - not good value for money - the time has stopped here + family run business + not too far from Gatwick airport + tescos extra just over the road

Stayed in a room with a four poster bed which was lovely. The bed was comfy, room was clean, albeit very dated, with a desk area. TV worked fine though the WIFI didn't work as room is on the top floor.
