Hotel buried deep in the grounds of a golf course, with large, clean and comfortable rooms, with views. Only down side was having to walk across to the Club House for breakfast but, no doubt, that would have been way more pleasant in more clement weather! Only minor issue was the lack of a shower, which we much prefer to...

The room I occupied was clean and well equipped, and both the bedroom and en-suite bathroom were of a good size. There was only one comfortable chair in a room for two persons and this was inadequate. Reception is in a separate building to the sleeping accommodation, and this is inconvenient, as is the fact that to get to the...

We used this Hotel last year for a weekend get-together of 18 people and it is ideal. The service is second to none, friendly, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Sam is super efficient and checked us in quickly. We had superb meals here, lovely tea and cake and the tables were laid for us on the upper part...

We have just returned from Sedlescombe after a fantastic weekend. There were 8 ladies playing golf and we were there for a 70th birthday celebration. The staff were so helpful and attentive. The food is out of this world and they went to Hastings to get fresh fish & lobster that was cooked to perfection. We stayed over night and...

Sedlescombe Golf Club is a fantastic mix of great golf, excellent food and clean, well kept rooms. The rooms are spacious and feel very comfortable. They can easily sleep 4 in a room if you need a family room. The 2 golf courses there are stunning. The par 3 course is a real test of your short irons and wedges...

The first visit was for a birthday and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal, plenty on the plate, great service and food very tasty. Our second visit was not so good. We had to wait some time even though there were not many people ordering food. The staff were different and clearly they were understaffed although this may have been due...

Clean and reasonably appointed rooms and quiet location.excellent golf facilities range and three putting greens close to course.18 hole course is very well maintained and is tree lined but with no rough under trees so although you will be penalised for wayward shots you won't be crucified plus it keeps play moving along nicely. Front 9 is good warm up...

I was on my own and wanted to go to Battle Abbey and other attractions. How lucky to choose this hotel to stay. The welcome was warm and although the golf club bar and reception is not part of the hotel it is only a very short walk. Car parking is right outside the hotel bit and lots of spaces....
