Arrived 1 pm for a 3 night stay and asked the hungarian guy on the desk if we could check in early.No problem,he gave us the key straight away.All the other staff were just as helpful.The breakfast was cooked fresh and the food was good with plenty of choice.The room was quite small but the beds were comfortable and one...

First the posatives, friendly greeting upon arrival, lovely freshly prepared full english breakfast, the room was clean albeit very small and basic, the bed was very comfortable, now the negatives, we asked what time the bar closes and were told we could get a drink at anytime, came back from an evening out to find the bar in total darkness!!!...

This fairly basic hotel is uplifted by the nice people who run it and are keen to please. Clean if small rooms with everything you could want for a good night's sleep -- comfortable bed, adequate storage space, television with full range of Freeview TV and radio channels, toilet/shower. Had a night in this hotel rooms basic but a good standard bit dated but for the price was excellent had a great nights sleep and the included breakfast was excellent we will be returning right by the seafront and town so in a good location

Stopped off for two nights, work related. Really good value for money exceeded my expectations for what i paied. Friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast! Great location right beside the sea, in the town, and only a ten minute walk from clacton train station, very easy the find your way here! Ideal for work related stop offs.

We were in Clacton for a funeral, so we spent very little time in the hotel. With that said, it was a lovely roo. It was clean, and quite spacious though the bathroom was very small but we managed. Stayed 2 nights in this terrific hotel. The hotel was very clean, with very friendly staff and very convenient for the city centre. The freshly cooked breakfasts were very good and very filling. Overall a great Clacton experience... A++++++
