Comfortable accommodation is provided in ground floor units in a converted barn and comprises two double and two twin rooms, all of which can take an extra bed or cot. All rooms have en-suite facilities. Ample parking. Free wi-fi. Guests enjoy a hearty full English breakfast in the conservatory which has stunning panoramic views of the surrounding Essex Countryside. We also have three self catering apartments, each with a double bedroom with ensuite and a lounge/dining area. On site laundry room.

We were a bit surprised that Puttocks is a working farm with accommodation, but for us it was a nice surprise, we loved that Roger and Jane are good, honest, hardworking people and they are very friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and cozy, well stocked and very clean, the breakfast was the best we’ve had in a long time, everything was fresh as fresh can be and cooked to perfection, there was a great selection of uncooked breakfast, and the views are amazing! We even got to see a pheasant strutting around outside!

Myself husband and two grown up children stayed overnight, before catching our flight from London Stanstead Airport. We weren't t sure if we could make the 22.30pm check in. Jane and her husband were very accomadating, nothing too much trouble. The rooms were spotless very well equipped. Breakfast outstanding with pleasant surroundings. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a great stay here, hosts were wonderful and welcoming. Location is beautiful and not far from shops, rooms are clean and spacious with great facilities. Super comfy, great little supplements like tea, coffee and lovely toiletries. I would highly recommended this B and B.
