Nice little hotel within walking distance of Hornchurch town centre. The room and bathroom was clean. Only bad thing was that the double bed was really small. Cos of that my partner and I didn't get a good nights sleep.

Staff are friendly and extremely helpful. We had Executive room on ground floor which was clean and nicely decorated, if a little small, but what can you expect for less than £100 in London. Breakfast was lovely, they will cook what you want to order, plus there's a small buffet for continental breakfast which was nice. I'm not sure if...

Arrived on Saturday. Hotel is clean and tidy. Our room was small and did not have a hairdryer. He ensuite was very small but we were only there for a night. Bathroom was nicely appointed. Very good breakfast the following morning.

I stay here frequently because the hotel is close to my father's care home. I come from America twice a year and stay here. The staff are very nice and friendly but I think I do need to address some issues which I have experienced this year. I booked directly with the hotel and paid, I thought, with the credit...

Dear Guest, Thank you for staying at the Devonshire. I'm sorry you experienced some problems on your stay, with reference to breakfast, and the room size. Had to pay up front for room...then had to pay £8.00 extra for breakfast? McDonalds only charge £2.99 for breakfast and you dont have to stay the night either. Bed extra firm, just have to stay sat on the bed to let the blood circulate back into your body(not a heavy person either!) ..and a healthy wake up call at 6.30am...

We received a warm, friendly welcome. We were asked to settle the bill upfront, which wasn't a problem. Then found we had to pay extra for breakfast. Bit disappointed as this hotel didn't come cheap, and we weren't informed of this when we booked over phone. Room was clean, comfortable and had all necessary amenities. Mind bit of instruction on...

This isnt a criticism in any way, but if you are coming anywhere from the North of Watford, be prepared for the fact that the closer to London you get, the smaller the room, for higher rates to pay! Lets put it this way, i'm glad I didnt bring my cat, I certainly couldnt have swung it in the shower...

The double room was small, although comfy bed. Ensuite included a toilet where your knees were touching the door! I felt that the room price was too much for what it was and there was no provision for a drink before bed and I thought that a hotel would include a bar facility. To say that the breakfast was burnt...
