A disappointing lunch unfortunately. Beautiful house on outskirts of Cheltenham and hotel with good reputation for relaxed style. We expected Sunday lunch to be a big event but dining room was virtually empty. With prices for a 2 course roast meal at £22 and a lovely view of

I read some reviews saying the place was tired. I didn't find this at all. Lovely place in beautiful grounds. The spa was great, only complaint is that the steam room wasn't working even though staff said it was fixed, a regular had to use a trick with a cold wet towel held over

This was our second visit for lunch and we were not impressed. The service was lackluster on the whole and the food was not impressive. The menu was limited and over priced. My chicken liver parfait tasted like shop bought pate and my friends burger was dry and tough. When the

Hi, The car park is adequate for the hotel, and functions that occur there. It's not sprawling but I've never had a problem parking. Re dogs, I've not seen any there but that's not to say they don't accept them. No dog poo bins. And everyone leaves their wellies and walking boots outside. Good walking routes though advise you have a local OS map to really explore; 1. walk to Cirencester - a good days walk and bus back. Stop at the Bathurst Arms for lunch, looks round Abbey in Ciren, Roman museum, Corn Hall and warm by the fire in the recently refurbed kings head hotel. 2. Walk across the woods to Ullenwood and have lunch at the Star Centre or coffee and cake at Crickley Hill (Glos wildlife trust)

Hello Kezen, So pleased that you enjoyed the cocktail with us! Just in case you didn't find the answer- the cocktail sounds like our 'Winter Supper' which we have done a slightly different version of this winter also. It was served with nuts & Gingerbread on the side! A perfect Winter treat! Warm Regards Emma Beddall General Manager Cowley Manor & C-Side Spa
