On arrival we were greeted by our host Jane with tea and cake which was very much appreciated after our journey. She spent time with us before showing us to our lovely cosy room on the first floor. Throughout our stay both Jane and Peter were on hand to offer advice and

Stayed for one night but we could of easily stayed for more. The hosts were very welcoming and hospitable. Tea and cake on arrival which went down a treat. Rooms were spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was superb. Ideal location. Would highly recommend.

Thank you for your review.and we appreciate you comments. it is fair to say that Edale House is our home as much as a Bed and Breakfast. we endeavour to provide set times for breakfast so it makes it easier for everyone to plan there day (this is mentioned in all our literature), you will find in most B&B's are very similar in this. We try to provide a quite environment wherever possible, if however breakfast stretches beyond these times then we endeavour to continue with prepping up for the next day ( and we do try to be as quite as possible). Our home is quite old and has a few quirks which is its charm. The Mobile phone signals should be improving over the next 12 months as the Forest gears itself up to having new masts. we provide a good internet service that can also handle wifi calling if your service provider offers it. we wish you a very happy summer and hope you will come to us on your next visit to the forest.
