I arrived late for an important business meeting the following day - I basically just needed somewhere to sleep for the night. Check in was easy and the room nice. I allowed myself plenty of time to get ready and have breakfast in the morning. In the morning, firstly I couldn't get any hot water and then the water in...

Most unfortunate that the water pump had a fault and had to be replaced, these older buildings do have their troubles from time to time. However with a brand new pump fitted the problem is now solved. If you find yourself in Berkeley again we will be happy to offer you a complimentary night.

We stayed at the Berkeley Arms for 2 nights while attending a wedding at Berkeley Castle and couldn't have asked for a better hotel. We received the warmest welcome, a beautiful spacious room, and the home cooked food was absolutely delicious! Just a 2 minute walk from the castle it made a fantastic weekend of wedding celebrations even more special....

Stayed at the hotel for one night with family and friends, as I was moving house. Our room was lovely, spacious and clean. We also ate in the restaurant, the food was fabulous. The staff were very attentive, friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend anyone who visits to stay here and enjoy a lovely meal.

Very comfortable, if basic, rooms with very welcoming and friendly staff. Only stayed one night but would have been happy to have stayed longer. Bit odd having no reception but, as its a very popular pub, understandable that you book in/out at the bar. Breakfast was supposed to finish at 10.00 but we turned up at 10.20 and it was...

Stayed for a couple of nights for a wedding arriving on Friday night. Welcome a bit disorganised as the bar was packed and this is an inn but there was large clean room, cheerfully friendly staff, breakfast was classic English and fine evening meal well prepared and good value and the locals in the bar friendly. A Premier inn or...

Situated in the centre of the small town of Berkeley, Gloucestershire you could easily imagine yourself back in the days when Coaching Houses were standard fare in towns such as this. The establishment comprising thirteen bedrooms, dining and entertainment rooms, public bar, has no pretensions of being anything "nouveau" but provides excellent accommodation and food for guests looking for good...

We stayed here on 19 September for a wedding and to be honest didn't expect too much but we were so pleasantly surprised. We had three rooms and all of the rooms were lovely. They were spotlessly clean and tastefully and comfortably furnished. The staff were helpful and polite especially the lady who served breakfast. The breakfast was really good....
