Overall a lovely stay. Apartment was located in a residential building. It was nice and clean, had good amenities, and was in a good location (close to Media City) with good transport links (tram) to other parts of Manchester. There was however no available parking on site, so we had to park a 10 min walk away at the MediaCity multi-storey which was £24 for up to 24 hours. As the apartment was in a residential building, there was no 'hotel reception' / Quay Apartments signage - you needed to rely on a meet-and-greet service to bring you to the right building and initially into the building itself - the staff members we met/spoke to were very friendly and helpful, so we didn't find that to be an issue.

Absolutely amazing …. The meet and greet was so organised fantastic customer service The apartment was more than we imagined with the most amazing views across the city the apartment was spotlessly clean with everything you need ….. if I could recommend one thing it would be even better if the bedroom blinds were blackout ….. but I watched the sun rise over the city which was truly beautiful We will definitely return 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Too expensive compare to what you get! No extra bedding such as Pillow, Duvet etc. The view you get is certainly not what is shown in the photos. We did not have any view to the water. The key collection and Drop-off process was a painful and inconvenient process! Car park charge was a rip-off! (£16/night!) why?! You are literally living with other permanent residents in this complex which is not an ideal for someone who paid significant money for this apartment with no reception!

My stay at the Quay Apartments which is rated as a Four Stars Apartment, how? I don't know, located at 256 The Quays, Salford District, Greater Manchester, M50 3BD, UK was filled with disappointment and frustration with an utterly disconcerting experience. It was supposed to be comfortable and secure but turned out to be a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my negative feedback so that others do not encounter a similar situation. Firstly, locating the apartment was an ordeal in itself. Despite multiple attempts to find the address on Google Maps, the apartment was mysteriously absent. This left me wandering the cold streets of Manchester at night, desperately trying to find the place I had already paid for. When I called their supposed representative for assistance, the situation only worsened. I was directed to meet someone at Sainsbury's Local Grocery shop because according to them, it was their meeting point. This seemed highly unprofessional and unusual for any establishment. To add insult to injury, I was approached by a male stranger who didn't introduce himself and claimed to be associated with the apartment. He asked if I was Paula and checking into the Airbnb room and I was told to follow him. I questioned why I was directed to a grocery store instead of their hotel front desk and he responded this was their meeting point. I asked why I was being checked into an Airbnb when I had clearly booked and paid for an apartment and where I was following him. He refused to answer my questions and instead insisted that I follow him to the Airbnb room. His behaviour was alarming and left me confused and infuriated as I had booked and paid for an apartment, not an Airbnb. Rather than providing answers, he accused me of being abusive and insisted we continue the conversation in the private Airbnb room. I declined, emphasizing that such a conversation should occur at their hotel front desk, as is standard practice. Despite my attempts to seek clarity, he walked away without any explanation, leaving me stranded and vulnerable in an unfamiliar city. My concerns about this deceptive situation were blatantly ignored and were dismissed as abusive behaviour. This lack of transparency is unacceptable and raises serious security concerns. Being led to a random Airbnb room without proper explanation or identification is unprofessional and incredibly unsafe, particularly for a solo female traveller, as it compromises my safety and well-being. Furthermore, when I called the apartment again to seek clarification on the situation, I was shockingly told that I would not be given a room because I was supposedly being abusive for asking entirely reasonable questions about my accommodation. This blatant disregard for customer concerns and safety is not just unprofessional; it is outright dangerous. Family of 5. Ample space. Lovely views from higher floors. Very clean rooms. Highly recommended. Lifts in the building are very efficient, gliding to your desired floor. Make sure you have the pass to the elevator, otherwise you can't call it to the basement where the car park is. This was our only issue where improvement could be made in, but the parking provided is cheaper than neighbours NCPs. Would recommend apartments at higher floors if you want a view of the surrounding area. Especially nice at night, with the windows slightly ajar. Can feel the breeze. Though not recommended if you're a light sleeper with trans running at late hours. On a side note, trans go to Trafford Centre, so quite convenient. Overall... very nice, highly recommended.

Great apartment, it has everything you need. Was located perfectly. The tram stop is right outside and regularly trams go past during the day. A Sainsbury’s just outside the apartment building which was really convenient. Bed was comfy and the apartment was a good temperature throughout. My only complaint would be that there was no hot water at or after 8:30pm

The flat is impressive and the tower is secured. Only one recommendation to have some kind of welcoming package or at least water. Rather than that all is perfect. The team is also beautiful and very active to any queries.
