What better setting for Premier Inn's new generation bedrooms than the ultra-modern district of Spinningfields? Featuring a 40" flat screen TV, brand new, slumber-inducing beds, your room is just as appealing as the city! Shop for designer goodies at The Avenue, have a bite to eat at one of the many nearby restaurants, visit the People's History Museum or wander to The Lowry for a bit of culture. A stay in Manchester wouldn't be complete without an evening tipple on Deansgate. Fortunately, your Premier Inn Manchester City Centre West hotel room isn't far away.

First time here as recommended by friend. We knew restaurant we visiting just up the street. Great location for bars (Albert Scloss for us). Checked in on line and reception really friendly and we had parked in one of the ncp car parks they recommend so you get ticket validated and get car park discounted. Room great and we paid for breakfast, always stocked up and hot. All staff friendly. Defo be returning.

5 mins walk into the city centre but comfortably away from the hustle & bustle! We requested the 6th floor and the corner end room facing the river, for guaranteed peace as stayed on a weekend, and were given room 624 - perfect! The room was the nicest Premier room we've stayed in, and the air conditioning unit worked perfectly, kept the room consistently cool and didn't make irritating noises all night as they tend to in most other chain hotels. The breakfast was served promptly and was lovely, and all the staff were very pleasant and friendly. We will now always choose this Premier in future visits to Manchester. Thanks again for a great service 👍

I have visited Manchester many times but this is the first time we visit via train. Price of a 1 night stay for Saturday is pretty good (including breakfast which cost additional), location is close to the city centre and 30 minutes walk to Piccadilly station. Staffs are very friendly, family room is spacious and clean.
The only downside I have was the pillows are very thin and water running noise during the night keeping me awake.

Really good stay, one of the better Premier Inns I’ve stayed at. Spacious room at the rear of the hotel, nice and quiet. Breakfast was good, not too busy (this was midweek in January, to be fair)

Staff were happy to provide additional tea/coffee/milk for your room, though like all Premier Inns they seem to have given up on room cleaning mid-stay.

My only note of caution is the location - you’re a fair walk from the main stations, so you will likely be reliant on Uber or cabs unless you fancy walking lots. Spinningfield is an easy stroll for dinner/lunch options.

I stayed over for one night and the room and facilities were as I expected. Very clean and comfortable and a view of the Irwell. It is in a great location for easy access to Deansgate and links to transport around the city. The staff were very helpful and pleasant both at reception and at breakfast service. In particular, they were extremely helpful when I experienced an issue redeeming the parking voucher on departure. The reception staff made calls to the company and then escorted me to the car park to ensure that I was able to redeem the voucher for the discounted car parking. I didn't expect this level of service and so would recommend this if you are looking for a good place to stay in the City within easy reach of bars/restaurants and very handy for Castle Field Bowl. There is a Sainsbury local just across the road. The staff here are what made the difference for me, being a regular user of Premier Inn hotels.

Our only complaint (and it is/was a big one) is that our room was given away before our arrival and upon checking in at 9pm we had no room available.

However, the service of all other staff was great (particularly restaurant/bar/breakfast), food was really good and hotel areas were clean, fresh and modern.

One point to note that wasn't told to us on check-in, if you want room cleaned and made up during COVID this needs to be requested each morning.

Thank you so much for the night we spent at this Premier Inn. Fantastic price which more than made up for lack on on site parking (we parked about 10 min walk away for £10 24 hours). Sara was lovely and great to chat to. Also a very bubbly good morning the next day from another member of staff. They really are a fantastic credit especially after a long pandemic that has kept a lot of people away from being able to stay in hotels. Thank you all!

When you book a Premier Inn you do it because you know what your getting and it is always a good standard. But although this hotel is in a good location (we booked it as it was close to the restaurant we were visiting)it is very tired looking and in need of an upgrade. We only booked the night before so we did pay over £100 but we were given a disabled room and although it was big it t was scruffy
So needs redecorating!!!
And the shower head would not face forward to it was impossible to have a decent shower!!! The bracket was there that should hold it in place but the pipe hadn’t been fitted in it!
Breakfast was good but the 3 blokes behind me in the queue f’ing and Jeffing wasn’t pleasant when there were little kids around and the coffee machine was caked in food down the front it really put me off having one
I wouldn’t stay here again and pay that sort of money!!!!
Disappointing stay

I’ve stayed in this one for 4 nights over the last few weeks. The hotel has been extremely busy and it’s been difficult to find accommodation. I always try Premier Inn first, I like the straightforward style and consistency.

The hotel was slightly different on each occasion and that was really down to the staff. 3 out of 4 visits - exceptional helpful as expected, 1 visit really not interested.

The restaurant was closed except for breakfast, which was fortunate as there are some great restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was OK, the usual Premier Inn marmalade shortage was apparently on a couple of visits. Some of the machines were being a little temperamental.

Rooms were standard, that is good quality and comfortable. The first wasn’t completely clean but was acceptable, the second still had the previous occupants towels hung on the back of a door, but otherwise OK. The last rooms had a great view of the river Irwell which was a bonus.

Parking was in a nearby multi-story at which the hotel has a 50% discount which was a huge bonus at £25 per night.

Would certainly return for the City location.

We stayed one night to allow us to go to The Opera House for a play, it's only a 5 minute walk away so the hotel is in an ideal location for this. Initially we had problems finding the car park due to all of the building work currently going on in the Spinningfields area resulting in closed roads.
Check in was quick using the kiosk and we were in our room within a few minutes. The room is typical Premier Inn with standard furnishings but it had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable, it was also air conditioned. As usual there was a good shower in the bathroom and quality towels.
As we were running late we decided to have dinner in the Thyme restaurant and were pleasantly surprised, both meals were very good and there was a reasonable selection of wine. The staff were brilliant and because they knew we were rushed they made sure we had quick service.
In the morning the buffet breakfast was very good, far better than the one we had experienced in an up market MacDonalds hotel the previous week. The hot selection was kept well stocked and the bacon & sausages were good quality. The coffee was also very good, it was from a machine but we've found that this often results in a better product than coffee served at the table.
The downside was the cost of parking - almost £24 for a stay of only 16 hours.

Hi. I asked the same question when we stayed at the end of Nov and was told that there was now no discount on parking for Premier Inn guests. I think it was withdrawn a year ago. Sorry.

I usually park on The New Bailey and it’s about £24/£25 for 24 hours or slightly cheaper if you use the app
