The Travelodge is very well set out with a bar and eating area. Can really recommend the breakfast, good choice and if you have children 15 or under, for every one person paying for breakfast then 2 children can eat free, there is also and dinner menu. I think this is very good value. The rooms are of a good standard . The parking is nearby is free to anyone checking in at the hotel and is a short walk away. The town centre is 2 minutes away. Would definitely recommend this hotel for value.

The staff at Travel Lodge Aldershot are very friendly and professional. The rooms are very nice and clean too. I would say that it would be nice to have a set of drawers in the rooms as there are none, so you end up living out of your suitcase as there is nowhere to put your clothes.
There is a drop off and pick up point in the front of the hotel and parking is free once you register your car, however there is one snag to parking. The car park is well lit but you have to use a horrible lift which takes you outside and then you have to walk the length of the hotel to the main entrance. This is not very satisfactory because on rainy days you get soaked. There should be a canopy for guests so that the long walk isn't in the rain.
Apart from that it's a very nice hotel. I had to travel in the covid restrictions so there was no restaurant at all. You could buy food from the hotel and eat in your room or go to McDonalds in the town centre which is what I did. I should like to go there when the restaurant would be open.
It is good value for money and the stay was comfortable. The room was very clean and tidy too.
Well done Travel Lodge, but get a canopy up for the guests please!

I struggled to find some accommodation whilst on a business trip to the area and booked 1 night at the travelodge as a last minute choice.

Once I found the parking I discovered lifts were out of order (they are in the entertainment complex not in the hotel) so lugged my bags outside in the wind and rain and was not anticipating a good nights stay!

I received a warm, friendly welcome at check in and on reaching my room on the quieter ‘business floor’ was pleasantly surprised to find a basic very clean comfortable room with everything I needed for the 1 night stay.

I slept wonderfully with no noise or disturbance from inside or outside the hotel.

Breakfast was basic but again the area was clean and functional.

The staff at this travelodge are friendly and helpful, outshining staff at a recent ‘5star’ hotel that I visited.

The price was excellent and I would definitely return and book out of choice if I’m back in the area.

Central to the town, this hotel is very conveniently situated. Park in Morrisons car park and use the lifts to get into the hotel- if they are working. They weren’t last week which meant a few laborious trips up and down the stairs with suitcase etc. Luckily it wasn’t raining and I am able bodied. Not so great if you’re not. Reception staff were pleasant, type your car park number into the screen on the desk and you won’t get a fine for overstaying. The room was small but perfectly adequate for my needs and although it looked out over the shopping complex and many eateries, it was quiet. Everything was clean and appeared well maintained. It is dog friendly and my dog was able to stay with me. I only stayed one night on a business trip, and would do so again. In fact I have already booked it for my next overnight in the area, next week.

Staying for work, 3 nights.

I work 12 hours a day and can’t seem to get a decent shower, might as well buy a cheap water pistol and attempt to wash with that.

Put the sign in the door to replace towels when I left for work at 8am got back on break at 14:30 and sign was back in my room along with the same damp towels in the “bathroom”

Friday night I finish work to be met with loud music from the pub across the road so turn up the tv only to have a staff member to knock on my door to tell me I! Am making to much noise!!
Music continues until after midnight!

Finally fall asleep with the tv on, much quieter now, only to be woken once by yet another staff member banging on the door just to let me know my tv is on! Like I’m in some shared house or hostel!

Do not bother with this hotel unless you’re out on the piss.

Not to mention no AC so had to use the chair in my room to balance the tiny fan on slightly closer to my bed!

The first room (room 9) had large splatters of what I hope was curry on unavoidable parts of the carpet and a grubby shower tray. The White shower curtain had brown Stains all around the bottom which made my stomach stir.
Upon complaining to reception they quickly moved me to room 112. This had a bath which was dirty and had a similarly dirty shower curtain. There was an unflushed turd in the toilet complete with loo paper.
The carpet again clearly had been hoovered with a full or faulty hoover. There were scatterings of bitten finger or toe nails, lots of ‘bits’ that looked like dry skin, again, unavoidable when walking through the room. I had to settle for this as I had a funeral to attend and had to get changed and rush off (I did this standing on the bed!). Upon my return in the evening I noted that the tv remote was sticky and unusable. The window was open as it was a warm day/evening and the noise from the pub opposite at kicking out time was like a domestic scene from Eastenders! The noise from the traffic kept me awake through the night along with the boisterous guests who sounded as though they were playing tag in the Hall throughout the early hours. There was also a dribble of something rather suspicious on the beds head board.
I politely informed the reception upon checking out and it was clear from her disbelieving and such stern and dismissive attitude, that I was not going to get any where by continuing to make my representations.
I will never ever make the mistake of staying in a Travelodge ever again! You really do get what you pay for!!!!!

I apologise for my direct approach, I'm a very loyal customer to Travelodge and use the hotel quite a lot 6 nights this week alone in a Travelodge.

Booking made under my partner name Billy McMillan , I'm currently staying at your Aldershot Travelodge and arrived on Wednesday 28th December for one night as in the festive period seeing family, last night we decided to extend our stay which will carry out until Friday 30th December morning.

This morning we notified the reception of extending our booking and our keys were updated and everything was fine, while i was at work my partner Billy was in the room to constant knocking on the door (even though the sign of please dont disturb me whilst im getting my 40 winks) and it was the cleaner saying he should be out of the room because she needs to clean it... so clearly communication failed.

Tonight at roughly 18.15, now I'm back in the room from work and another loud bang on the door... this time a gentleman manning the desk decided to let himself in the room before my partner could get to the door to open it. Asking why he is in the room and that he had to go downstairs..as if he had done something wrong (after my partner telling him everything that happened today and asking the gentleman to check his systems he found our extended booking) why he never looked in the first place or why he even needs to check it because everything was organised this morning (so we thought)

How dare anyone allow themselves into someone else's room without permission, i'm disturbed that had happened (especially being in a disabled room)

I'm sorry to say I will not be using the Travelodge hotel again.

Kind regards

Natalie

Stayed overnight recently at Travel Lodge Aldershot. First time in a Travel Lodge. Room ok for one night but bedside lights poor and small recess in headboard inadequate. Only one towel provided, shower was fixed not moveable and water temp was fixed - just about hot enough

Overcharged for the room. We booked 2 months in advance as we were traveling from Australia and wanted to ensure we had somewhere to stay whilst visiting friends.
The day before the room was reduced by £100!
Upon check in we were told this was because there was a local airshow on, so the price had been over inflated, but last minute they realised there were vacant rooms so had to reduce the price to try and fill them. When we checked in at 3:00pm there were still over 20 rooms vacant.
So much for book in advance to get the best rate they can offer!
With a shrug of their shoulders the reception staff told us they didn't set the prices and there was nothing they could do, but at least it wouldn't be as bad as the weekend before, as there is no air-conditioning in the hotel, so the weekend before in the heatwave the rooms were unbearable. All that is provided is a tiny desk fan!
The hotel is run down. There was a thick white liquid sprayed across the ceiling of our room. The carpets are stained and in terrible condition. The bathroom floods when the shower is used - nothing you can do to prevent this due to the terrible design, so the floor is soaking wet when the second person needs to use the bathroom.
Would not stay here again, or in any other Travelodge after this experience!

The room was very hot and stuffy, still 30 degrees at 21:00. The staff have provided one fan that barely makes a difference. When we approached them for another fan they said they didn't have one for us.
The Travelodge is opposit a busy pub and was very loud all throughout the night.
In my opinion travelodge have let us down on this visit and first impressions are not great after my stay in premier in the week before who provided air con and a comfortable nights sleep.

The beds were not bad in my opinion the rooms were clean.

Please Travelodge can you address the issues?
