We stayed here for 2 nights (3 rooms), having stayed here previously this time it was for a function. The whole atmosphere was wonderful - the staff were also fantastic with an attention to detail that is rare to find. The rooms were clean, sumptuous and a joy to stay in. All in all, a great weekend and cannot wait... More

Amazing hotel in the middle of nowhere after a thousand and one roundabouts. Sherlock Holmes, deerstalkers, the sound of clay-pigeon shooting, tea parties of Miss Marple, the never-ending fields of Pride&Prejudice, the word "dear" and faded Victorian grandeur all come to mind, even though I don't think these are actually set in Hampshire. The Hotel itself caters to this image a... A wonderful stay for my husband's birthday and our 7th anniversary. We were upgraded to a suite that overlooked the fishing lake where cormorants, herons and birds of prey congregated. It had stunning views of miles of unspoilt Hampshire countryside. 500 acres apparently. We were thoroughly spoilt by the staff so thanks to them all- even to the point where... More

I came here for afternoon tea with my partner. To make the most of our visit, we had a drink in the bar beforehand and a quick stroll around the grounds afterwards. Whilst I cannot comment on the hotel rooms themselves as we didn't stay there overnight, all the other parts of the hotel we explored were attractive and luxurious.... More

I have stayed at this wonderful property for business on a couple of occasions recently, so have just come back from a special weekend with my husband for his birthday. As well as being in the most beautiful setting, the service at every single touchpoint is what sets this property apart from so many other hotels. The staff here are... More

I arrived for a birthday party and for the entire time my husband and I were at the hotel, we felt in safe hands. The hotel had obviously dove-tailed beautifully with the party organiser, and whilst I know many little touched were down to the planner (such as the fact that I got gluten-free scones on arrival), it is a... We had a lovely stay. Very friendly staff, great cocktails @ the bistro/bar and buffet breakfast was excellent. The rooms were spacious and generous with walk-in wardrobes. If I am being very picky - I would say that for breakfast buffet it could have been better to offer more vegetarian options.
