Very nice hotel with little play area and nice swimming pool. Great food. We found a little bit weird that you have to book a table for breakfast day before. Only downfall was cleanliness- when we opened sofa bed we found some toys and rubbish that guests before left, also very dusty. Hotel is close to peppa pig world . Would go back again.

Dear Navigator, Pleased to note you had a very good stay at the hotel and enjoyed using the facilities, particularly the play area and the swimming pool. To ensure every guest has an good experience at breakfast we do operate a booking system in the same way as you would make a dinner reservation. This avoids any queues and with over 300 people in the hotel on busy days it avoids disappointment. I was however concerned to read your feedback about the bedroom which I will be discussing with my Head Housekeeper, please accept my sincere apologies for any dissatisfaction experienced. Please be assured this is certainly not up to our usual standards of cleanliness and will be addressed. I do hope you have the opportunity to stay with us again in the future. Kind regards Jane Standing General Manager

Good little hotel very family friendly. We stayed for one night as we had just finished a cruise in Southampton. The hotel is a short distance from the airport. The food was beautiful, and dominic is a credit to the business very profesional.

Average hotel, as expected to be honest. I have stayed in other holiday inns and they pretty much have the same standard. So here is my opinion based on experience. Pros: -Good location from the motorway -Generally clean, though it could get messy especially when there are families with kids. -Good location if you are visiting Peppa pig World. I think they have a deal where you can get peppa tickets and hotel stay in a package deal. -Room is average clean, but has all amenities you need. -Average swimming pool, ok sauna and steam room. -Ok breakfast but nothing special -Available restaurant and bar (shuts at 11pm) Cons: -Our room had rubbish under one of the beds, we asked housekeeping to clean, they never did. See photo -You need to book a table for the breakfast the day before, you cant just show up like in all other hotels. -for the swimming pool you need a coin for the lockers and you bring your room towels which is not nice. -Fire alarm test at 7am (only on mondays i believe) - unacceptable Overall, my experience was fine.

Dear xosej, Thank you for taking the time and trouble to write a comprehensive review further to your recent stay at the hotel. I was pleased to note the location of the hotel worked well for you and that you were able to enjoy our facilities. I was sorry to learn you found some rubbish under one of the beds, I will be discussing this with my Head Housekeeper to ensure retraining of room checks are carried out to avoid any re-occurrence. We find the booking system for breakfast works well and ensures all guests can enjoy their breakfast without having to queue. With 95 seats in the restaurant and sometimes over 300 guests in the hotel we have found this solution is the most workable. The fire alarm test is carried out every Tuesday at 11am. The recent fire alarm at 7am was an actual alarm but was fortunately a false alarm. I am sorry you were not given the correct information. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Kind regards Jane Standing General Manager

We stayed here for 2 nights visiting Peppa Pig World with my toddler. The hotel is well located for that, only 15 min drive from the Park, and definitely caters for families more than business people. The common areas were relatively clean but if I was there on business, I would be put off the stains on the sofas and crumbs on the floor left from the kids. It didn't bother me as I am used to this :). The room was clean and ok in size, but we were next to the Staff room and during our lunch nap, there was a constant opening and closing of that door very loudly, given so many young kids stay in this hotel, there should be more consideration from staff for that. The breakfast was good, typical HI breakfast buffet, and we appreciated the kids room next to it. I would stay again for a night or two.

Dear Ralisa, Thank you for taking the time and trouble to write a review further to your recent stay at the hotel. Guest feedback is so important to us and we appreciate your thoughts. I was glad to learn that you would stay with us again and that you and your family enjoyed your visit, particularly the play room. Whilst we do have many families staying over the Easter holidays we do also cater for other leisure and business travelers. I was sorry to learn of the stains and crumbs you noted and this will be immediately addressed and actioned accordingly. We have cleaning schedules to ensure appropriate action is taken on a daily basis. I was also sorry to hear you were disturbed by noise from a nearby door which I have asked my Maintenance Manager to review. Good to hear the breakfast was good and we hope to see you again on a future occasion. Kind regards Jane Standing General Manager

Booked this hotel prior to visiting Peppa Pig World because it was well priced and had a play room and pool/spa. We all had a great stay, our little girl loved the play room. Breakfast and evening dinner was very good. Buy two large glasses of wine get the bottle, however food and drink slightly over priced but expect this at a hotel. I will have no hesitation using this hotel again. It was really busy so book breakfast and meals. Thanks

From the moment we were welcomed at reception this was a delightful weekend stay! A beautifully clean hotel, lovely bar staff and pleasant, considerate service by all staff in the restaurant, even though they were busy coping with lots of excited children - anticipating Peppa Pig World or exhausted from their visit no doubt! Good advice from the Saturday morning restaurant manager for our own visit to Winchester - use park and ride - the south Winchester car park was easy to reach and very convenient.! Can’t not mention the food, which is delicious - best gluten-free fried fish and chips ever!

Dear Simon, Thank you for your four-star review. Your comments about the reception team and rooms during your recent work trip are greatly received, guest feedback is so important to us. I note your comments about breakfast being acceptable and assume this is why the review was four out of five and not five out of five. Are there any improvements you believe we can make to our offering? Thank you again for taking the time to review us and I hope we will see you again soon. We stayed here under the two day Peppa Pig world offer. I toyed between this and another hotel and I was very impressed with this hotel. Pros - The staff are extremely friendly, they go above and beyond to help, and nothing is too much for them. -There were many other families staying who were also visiting Peppa for the weekend, and you could see how well equipped they were for that. The milk and cookies before bed was a really nice touch, as well as the activity bags. - We didn't use the playroom but could see it was good, looked clean, and definitely a great addition to the place - Food was great, both dinner and breakfast the next day. - Extra pillows provided on request - Clean Cons (minor but worth mentioning) - Kids eat for free however only when an adult eats a main course (which is fine) but the prices of such are clearly reflected to account for that. - I think having to pay for the parking is a bit cheeky - Kids were advertised as having a nacho starter but most people didn't receive (mine were too hungry so when their mains came I was not going to turn them away :) - Plates at buffet were PIPING we had to use about 5 napkins to carry them - There wasn't any advertisement of the fact that kids could have had pancakes for breakfast. It wasn't after mine had eaten their breakfasts that we heard people ask - and they looked really good! Overall - really good, really impressed, definitely recommend and would stay again!

Dear Kimberley, I was so pleased to note you and your family enjoyed your recent stay at the hotel. Thank you for giving such a long and thorough account of your views, guest feedback is so important to us. Great to hear you felt the hotel was an excellent choice for visiting Peppa Pig World and we are delighted you were impressed with your stay and would stay again. I was sorry to hear the children did not receive their Nachos, I will discuss this further with the team to ensure it doesn't happen again. I will also review the temperature of the plate warmer. We have breakfast menus on the table which outline items which can be ordered such as pancakes, I am sorry you did not see this; I will ask the team to mention when seating guests moving forward. The dinner menus are the same for a business guest or a family eating, we do review our pricing to ensure we are competitive in the market and to cover the increasing cost of food. Thank you so much for your recommendation and I do hope we will see you again soon. Kind regards Jane Standing General Manager

Well I would recommend this hotel to anyone trying to decide where to stay when visiting peppa pig world. All round great! Check in was easy. Hotel spotless, smells absolutely amazing in the reception area. For kids, they are given a little ticket to redeem at night time for milk & cookies before bed which my daughter (3) thought was great. They are also given a little “party bag” as my daughter called it with colouring pens, books & some other little bits. The playroom is such a good idea to keep the kids occupied. The pool is unfortunately cold but I only heard us adults complaining, the kids were fine. They have a sauna, steam room & jacuzzi. The room is fine for size. The breakfast was lovely. Buffet breakfast plus continental options. The only complaint I did have was in the restaurant in the evening. I ordered creamy garlic mushrooms - even the description there is no mention of cheese being in this dish. The dish came with cheese on top so I asked the waitress if they could make a new one without the Parmesan, the chef then came out to say that the sauce itself is actually cooked using cheese sauce? I find it so odd because of allergies that this is not mentioned in the menu at all.. they were nice enough about it and refunded me straight away plus gave me a bowl of chips for free but I do think they should address this with management or whoever is in charge of doing the menus. Gutted because the dish looked soo nice too! Overall, a great hotel, great location, kids have no time to be bored here.

Dear Ashley, Thank you so much for taking the time and trouble to give a full account of your recent experience at the hotel. I was so pleased to learn that you and your family enjoyed your stay, particularly your 3 year old who loved all the little extras offered for our younger guests! We take guest feedback very seriously and value all comments and suggestions. We also take allergies very seriously and I was sorry to hear about the confusion with the garlic mushroom dish. The dish should not include cheese, as you quite rightly pointed out, if it did this should be stated on the menu. The Head Chef is currently reviewing all dishes with the team and speaking with the Chef who added cheese to your dish. Thank you so much for your recommendation and I do hope you will also have the opportunity to stay with us again in the future. Kind regards Jane Standing General Manager

I am part of two networking groups that meet weekly at the hotel. They are both early morning meetings and there is nothing better than starting your day with the best front of house team you can possibly ask for! Constantin, Dominic, Subaqueen and Syed make our breakfast meeting extra special with their high quality service, friendliness and their lovely welcoming smiles! I feel genuinely overjoyed when being greeted by them so early in the morning, especially when my lovely decaf oat latte gets me ready for my meetings! I can’t thank you guys enough for your service and kindness! Hope you are as appreciated by your management team as you deserve! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Warm regards, Lucy
