Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Hotel is normal Travelodge standard, great staff but poor standard rooms. Bear in mind that some of the rooms are very close to the busy A27 so very noisy 24 hours a day. Having said all that it was only £50!

Not the easiest location to find but the team manager sent a welcoming email in advance of my visit, warning about the dual carriage way which means access is only on the east bound route. Good thinking and thank you to the team. Room was well prepared, warm and clean. Very good value

Room smelt terrible and damp- bathroom floor was dirty. I’m not a fussy person at all and the beds weee comfy - I could t change rooms as it was late at night when I got back. Also what’s the point of having a heater that you can’t change the temperature on?

You don't book a Travelodge expecting luxury so you wont be disapointed to discover there isn't any. Saying that the beds are comfy and you can get a goodnights sleep. If you just need somewhere to sleep then does the job.

I’ve used this branch a few times now and always pleasantly surprised. The staff are always warm and welcoming and the room is always clean and smelling fresh. The staff are very knowledge of the surrounding areas which you would expect when travelling through the uk. Would recommend to anyone who needs a pit stop

Beautiful staff so warm and welcoming! Spacious free car parks! The hotel needs an overhaul with plugs by the bed but staff make it feel like home. Breakfast boxes are an acquired taste but Starbucks next door and the garage across the road both offer warm food. I will be back. Thank u for an amazing stay.

Tired and very basic. The cleaner “Bubbles” is happy to advertise that he/she cleaned the room. Maybe they should have removed the litter under the bed? Soap dispenser in bathroom was empty. The hotel is on a dual carriageway which means to get anywhere for food is at least a 6 hour drive away. Apart from Starbucks there is nowhere within walkable distance
