Hotel itself was ok, quite old fashioned & wifi was rubbish. Breakfast was lovely. Some of the reception & bar staff were very rude, but a couple of them were really lovely. Parking not a problem but you did have to pay. Probably wouldn’t stay here again for the price, but was ok for a voucher gift.

WE have just returned from a 2 night stay at this hotel. The room was a good size and the bed was sooooo comfy! The curtains were also very dark and our room overlooked the garden which meant a lovely view and a good nights sleep! Extra fan provided in the room and each and every member of staff we encountered were polite, and very helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Uncomfortable bed, dark room and when we complained about the fact that on the website an Executive room was advertised with a bath, they denied this. It had no bath just a shower cubicle. There was no receptionist available to enable us to change our room. Our fellow passengers had a room that smelled of cigarette smoke.

We usually meet friends here as it is a nice way to meet up when you live a long way from one another. It 's quite an inexpensive way to do it. Spacious rooms with good ambience and well appointed bathrooms. Excellent food in the restaurant, both dinner and breakfast. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We stay in lots of hotels but this is the only one where you pay £5 to park your car, strange!

Fantastic stay at a warm and welcoming hotel. The staff couldn’t do more for us, always Polite and very Professional. The bar is relaxing and the breakfast was lovely. We have friends who live just around the counter and will definitely be staying here again.
