My partner and I stayed at Park Lodge to visit family in the area and we absolutely loved our stay at Park Lodge. Martin was extremely personable, our room was clean and the shower was great! We had some excellent conversations with the owner and felt at home. Thank you for having us :-)

I am not one for leaving reviews just reading them normally but today I joined TA just to comment on my experience of staying at the Park Lodge Guest House. I was looked after the moment I arrived to the time I left. They couldn't do enough for me hence the effort from me. I'm classed as vulnerable due to health issues and Covid-19 so I am always careful; they looked after me throughout my stay so I felt completely safe and at ease. Clean, comfortable and extremely helpful.

On my arrival I was upgraded from a single room to a double free of charge. The room was lovely, had everything you could want, extremely comfy bed, powerful shower and a brilliant breakfast. The private parking was a bonus too, I loved the hand made pottery which was subtly up for sale, such a nice touch. Despite it having quite a few guests during my 3 night stay I always had a parking space and never once heard any of the other guests making any noise. The squirrel pub 2 minutes down the road does amazing food for a evening meal too. It was the cheapest in the area that I could find and easily found (and I'm useless at finding things). Overall it was faultless, I really enjoyed my stay and will certainly be back if I'm down that way again, thankyou so much!

Stayed for a week. Martin went out of his way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The B&B is in a quiet street and there are a number of really good restaurants within easy walking distance. The room was comfortable and the cooked breakfast was very good. Many thanks.
