Stayed here last night as our Christmas Party was hosted here, spectacular setting, fairytale like grounds and they put on a great party. The building is incredible to explore, the rooms are lovely if perhaps a little basic but with all the amenities regardless so worth it all round. Very good selection at breakfast and the staff were very helpful...

Laterooms at £85.00 a night. Nice location but the single room was basic and quite miserable. Look like they charge for the main building rather than accommodation quality. Arrived after dark and very poor, unlit signs on where to go.

Our son got married here in October and we stayed the night of the wedding. Firstly the wedding - It was just perfect. The staff all did a fabulous job on the day, particularly Andrew and Josh. They helped to make everything run like clockwork. The building is lovely and the grounds are just stunning. The food and drink were...

Really great building and grounds, friendly "country service". Rooms are in a variety of shapes given the historic nature of the property and comfortable as opposed to luxurious. Food was plentiful and represented good catering rather than fine dining. Really wonderful spot that is close to London yet feels a long way away. Quintessentially English.

I spent a night at this hotel whilst attending a work meeting. It is a lovely historic building, the ancient home of the Seymour family. The building has some rooms which are full of character, and is set in lovely gardens. The hotel appears to specialise in conferences during the week and weddings at the weekend. The food was great,...

This Hotel sets itself out from the rest offering the wow factor! I have been lucky enough over the years to have stopped in some really fabulous hotels, this one ranks amongst the best for its idyllic setting. Inside has maintained its originality with treasured painting, wide sweeping staircases and worn carpets. Unfortunately my room was a little less comfortable...

We stayed one night before attending a meeting in Basingstoke. We loved the building, and felt that it had not been over-restored. There were plenty of comfortable places in which to sit downstairs. Our room was on the second floor and I had not appreciated that there was no lift. I coped though despite some personal mobility problems. Our room...

Stayed there 3 times now on business in summer months , no air con in room windows only open 3 inches and when you do happen find the tiny fan tucked in the back of the wardrobe which you can't plug in anywhere unless you can locate the jumble of wires under desk and the extension block, not ideal when...

We had our wedding reception at Elvetham in August 2016- we had a fabulous day and we could not fault the service we received from all of the staff there. They helped to make the day very special and we can not fault anything!!! It was simply fabulous and such a stunning place we felt privileged to have our Reception...
