Have been here numerous times as our friends like to go for Sunday lunch. You have unlimited choice of starters and then you main course is presented. You usually have about four things to choose from a couple of meat dishes, a fish dish and a vegetarian. Then desserts again are unlimited buffet style. Staff are always very pleasant and...

We were given a voucher for one night at this hotel with scones on arrival and the seven course tasting menu. Everything was fantastic and the staff were wonderful. They were able to cope with a gluten free diet without fuss and the service was faultless. We had a jacuzzi bath which was great although the water jets were very...

Can really recommend Esseborne Manor- The set lunch is really good value. Served complimentary appetisers, very friendly staff and in a really beautiful setting. The restaurant feels smart but relaxed. There is plenty of choice and everything was really tasty, nicely presented and included a glass of wine. Will definitely be going back!

A group of 33 of us from Club Lotus took over the hotel for the weekend and had a great time. We were looked after extremely well by the friendly, helpful staff and comments I received from many people included "lovely room", "fantastic food", "great location", "superb". In fact, everyone I spoke to said how much they enjoyed the weekend...

We got an amazing Travelzoo deal for Eastbourne Manor. The Manor is set in beautiful surroundings, lots of trees and greenery, the herb garden is beautiful. The Manor is as you would expect from an old style property, the skirting boards are a bit battered and some cracks, peeling paint here and there, but it is very clean and well...

I booked the trip via Secret Escapes and opted for the A' La Carte tasting menu and tea and scones, breakfast was included. The staff were all friendly happy to help. My room was named after Bath and was styled in shabby Chic. The room was very clean and included tea and coffee making facilities, there was also home made...

This was the second time we have visited the hotel. This time on a dinner, b&b package. Friendly welcome and shown to an upgraded room with four poster bed, nice linen, good towels, good sized bathroom with modern shower. Tea and scones served in the lounge on arrival, complementary. Ordered the 7 course taster menu, all courses delicious. Asked for...

We stayed here prior to our day at Highclere Castle. We were extremely comfortable in the annexe but next time I would request an upstairs room as creaky floorboards which can't be helped in a lovely old house meant we were disturbed by guests above although we appreciate that this was unavoidable. We didn't take dinner in the hotel but...

My wife and I visited Esseborne Manor today to sample their afternoon tea. On arrival you are immediately struck with just how quant the hotel is and how nice the grounds are. We were warmly welcomed and chose to sit in the bar area which had a nice view into the garden. The hotel has an old England feel about...

My husband and I have just come back from 2 nights staying at Essebourne Manor. We booked a deal through Travelzoo, for 2 nights b & b plus dinner on the first night and a cream tea on arrival. The dinner was a choice of 3 courses from the a la carter menu or the 7 course tasting menu. We...

The house, which for over 100 years has been a country retreat, still retains the feel of a private home where the Hamilton family provide a warm and caring welcome with comfortable lounges, and bedrooms where you are pampered with fluffy towels, local filtered well water and home made biscuits. Bedrooms are individually decorated, many with king size beds, spa-bath and some with four poster beds. The Restaurant serves award winning food (2 AA Rosettes) with a choice of dishes to suit all tastes. Being only one hour from London, Southampton & Oxford, and located close to the M3 and M4 motorways Esseborne is a convenient location for visiting local attractions such as Stonehenge or Highclere Castle.
