We stayed over after attending a reception. The ambiance and the meal at the reception were very good. Well stocked bar with local and real ales. Our room in the Courtyard was large, and a full refreshment tray was provided. The toiletries in the bathroom were of outstanding quality. Bed very comfortable. Some of the furniture and furnishings are a... More

The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. I stay regularly at this hotel and enjoy the comfort, the relaxed style and the fabulous food. I travel on my own and never feel awkward or uncomfortable dining alone because the staff take the trouble to make me feel like an old friend. I recommend this hotel highly and wish them every... Saw a great offer for 7 course Tasting Menu on Groupon and decided to go for it! Purchased with the wine pairing options as it was my husband's birthday. We arrived to a delightfully presented manor house set back from the A-road. Tastefully lit outside with good parking. Arrived at the reception and politely met by the staff member, who... More

Stayed for one night. Had a lovely room (Burley) at the front of the hotel which was very peacefull. A nice traditional feel and staff that could not do more to help. The food was fantastic both for dinner and breakfast.

Just returned from an overnight stay, booked through a Groupon voucher and extremely good value for money. Good service, amazing food and a comfy four poster bed, what more could you ask for? We will return.

We originally came here a couple of years ago for an overnight stay while playing golf in the area. This time we arranged to meet some friends, have dinner in the restaurant and stay overnight. This is a great family hotel which has an excellent restaurant. We dinner was fantastic and the room we stayed in was perfect including a... More

We checked in just before 5.30pm - on a hotel package of dinner, bed & breakfast direct from the hotel (via email as we have stayed there before) we just missed out on the tea and scones on arrival all included in the price. As we stayed there before and knew what to expect for dinner - this was a... More

I bought a groupon voucher for this trip so the value was excellent. A beautiful old manor, a bit tired but still beautiful. Good sized room and a big comfy bed. Nice grounds and we were able to catch the last of the autumn sun. We enjoyed scones, home made jam and cream with fresh coffee and tea in the... More

We have recently returned from our fourth visit to this lovely, family-run hotel, not far from Andover. We have stayed twice in the main house and twice in the more modern courtyard annexe, but it would seem that all rooms are spacious, well-designed, clean, individual and well equipped. We have enjoyed a spa bath in our en suite bathroom on each... This beautiful little country hotel sits in lovely well kept gardens. I bought this as a treat for my Fiancee and I. We arrived to cream tea with homemade scones and then had a 7 course taster menu with wine pairing. The food and staff were outstanding and the room was delightful (Lymington) with beautiful views over the grounds. This... More
