Stayed for a couple of nights and found it a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing place to spend some time. Food was excellent, the full English breakfast amongst the best I've had. Staff were friendly and attentive. Room was lovely and cosy despite it being bitterly cold out and the bed extremely comfortable. My only criticism would be that some of...

Booked a night away for my husbands birthday with a highlife voucher so I thought it was good value. We arrived at the hotel and was able to park easily, the gentleman on reception showed us to our room which was in the courtyard and called Kew. The room was large and equipped with everything that you might need, it...

Our first (but certainly not last) visit for lunch. Food excellent, reception and general ambience and service, first class. Comfortable lounges and restaurant but welcoming and not so self important that one would be embarrassed if one dropped ones knife! Unexpected extras, glass of mulled wine ( very welcome on a cold, dreek day) interesting canapés ... good choice on...

Stayed here for 1 night and wish I could stayed longer. Very peaceful and comfortable with lovely food and amazing breakfast. The staff are lovely , this is a family owned, run and staffed hotel and they all take a lot of care in the running of it by the service we received. The rooms are spacious and although old...

My wife and I arrived on a cold and windy Saturday morning at Essebourne Manor. We were greeted by the very friendly staff and shown to our room which was called Richmond. The room was large, very clean and was upstairs with a balcony seat with a beautiful view of the countryside. The bathroom had a jacuzzi bath and a...

Had a two night stay with a seven course mitchilin taster meal on the second night which, was excellent. We had a meal on the first night which was lovely. The place was very relaxing. Staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get away and relax.

Had lunch at Esseborne a few times and it is always very good and the staff are always very pleasant, The hotel is set in lovely surroundings so very pleasant in the summer. The only criticism I would make is the price of the wine. i feel it is a wee bit overpriced;

We have been to essebourne manor for the past 3 years on my partners birthday. The tea and homemade scones were delicious- the 7 course tasting menu is exquisite- each time we have had it - something different but just as tasty and the breakfast in the morning rounds off a perfect stay. The staff are very accommodating and almost...

We were very happy with our stay at the Esseborne Manor Hotel. Our room was warm, comfortable and contained everything we needed. The setting was beautiful, and very peaceful. The cream tea was delicious, as was the tasting menu, and the staff were excellent. We would definitely stay there again.
