We had a perfect day with our family at Langrish House. Robina, Laura and the team are brilliant hosts and made sure that everything went smoothly on the day. The hotel takes it's Covid friendly measures very seriously and we all felt very safe during our stay. At the time it was unfortunate that we were only allowed 15 guests, but the room was arranged in such a way, so that it didn't look empty and everyone sat in their Covid bubbles and had a good view. The icing on the cake was the rainbow that appeared after the ceremony. We chose to stay in room 19, and what a lovely room it was. The bed was comfortable and the views from the windows were stunning. Breakfast was superb and plentiful. The history of the house is so interesting and we were lucky that Robina gave us a guided tour of the vaults. Thanks for making our day so special and we hope to be back for our anniversary!…
Had a wonderful weekend here after visiting family in Winchester. Helpful and friendly staff, spacious room and large en-suite and fabulous views. Very peaceful. Great breakfast and beautiful grounds to explore afterwards. Highly recommended and best to phone directly to discuss individual requirements and tariff. Covid secure.
We booked a 2 night stay for our 27th anniversary (normally we would be abroad) and overall the experience was pleasant with a warm welcome from the owner. The room we were assigned was fine with a comfortable bed but the en suite was quite tight and not as spacious as we would have hoped. The grounds were well maintained and the acreage a delight to behold. The breakfasts, while plentiful depending on what you chose, fell short, if not all options were ordered to eat. My husband has gluten wheat/dairy intolerance and so his dietary requirements were made known weeks before and the day before breakfast and yet what he was served was a half a tomato and one mushroom with a small pot of beans, a fruit compote, gluten free bread and bananas (which we requested) with no sign of having top ups if we wanted it. What we were served seemed to be the trimmings that would be on a full breakfast plate. This was disappointing as it would seem common sense to me that if you have guests who cannot eat the whole breakfast then there should be an option of having greater portion of the foods that can be eaten. (Tom/beans/mushrooms/toast etc). That's one drawback to an otherwise nice weekend. Local walks were really wonderful and the weekend was sunny and the locals friendly. We walked to East Meon and ate at a lovely pub and the scenery was a delight. After which the walk back helped to burn off the added calories. In Petersfield, we had dinner on two nights at the Indian restaurant. (A review for that will be posted soon). However, when I researched the hotel, it gave the impression that there was a restaurant on site/nearby (Fredericks?) not sure whether due to covid it was closed. Overall, it was a nice two night experience and is recommended as a place worth visiting. We would stay here again if we had a more spacious room/en suite and breakfast was different. Maybe a little extra touch could have been added to acknowledge our wedding anniversary. (Bottle of wine in room).…
A beautiful house in an amazing area, with lovely gardens. Very pleasant staff and we loved our two night stay in a very pretty room. Breakfast was divine and all produce full of flavour. We will happily return and would recommend to anyone requiring a peaceful break away from the norm. Robert and Fiona. Bedford
I stayed here with my girlfriend and we had an incredible time. The level of customer service was beyond outstanding and amazing. The house has an amazing historical feel with open log fires and the rooms are very modern it a characteristic way. The breakfast was the best I have ever had in a hotel, with all the ingredients very fresh and full of flavour. The owners and all the staff make it their Surrey to ensure that you are complexity content with your stay and make sure you have a fantastic time. All in all, I must say fantastic stay and very rare prices. Will be staying again Regards Angus
