Making the trip to Hampshire to celebrate a family members birthday we looked around the Romsey area where our relative lives. We discounted the Grand Harbour Hotel (Southampton) where we last stopped due to a very disappointing stop with them last year. As always we hate to stop at low quality establishments - we need not have been worried with...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights as a break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life (me) and a chance to go to the Landrover show at Beaulieu (him). We did have difficulty finding the place as the sat-nav stopped at the top of a long road. However a quick phone call to the owner...

If you need to relax before and after a cruise (yes, we know it sounds daft), need a base to see Hampshire, or just need to relax in general, this is the place. Quietest location we've ever been in. Even when we lived in a cottage in the middle of a field in the middle of nowhere in Angus. We...

A very lovely B&B located in a somewhat rural area, yet only a few miles from the market town of Romsey. Needless to say, rooms are very quiet. They are beautifully decorated with plenty of en suite "solar" hot water. Jennifer is a very charming and warm hostess, and her husband provides a very comprehensive continental breakfast, with cooked breakfast...

My husband and I stayed for one night over the bank holiday and had a lovely time. The property is beautiful, very stylishly presented and very clean. The little touches such as a jar of Quality Street in the bedroom was very sweet. Jennifer the owner and her daughter are both very welcoming and attentive without being overbearing. As my...

I really enjoyed staying at this lovely B&B. The house was amazing with really great surroundings and stunning views from our room. The room was spotless and beautifully appointed. The owners were also really welcoming and so helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent too. I would thoroughly recommend staying here.

This is a splendid property gleaming with the huge amounts of love and care lavished on it but we’ll start with the few minor criticisms because finishing with those gives a “down” feel to otherwise good reviews: - it’s down a narrow farm lane so better (both more and MUCH LARGER) signposting is essential to mark the turnoff on Saunders...

Dear guests Many thanks for your frank and fearless comments. As a busy bed and breakfast we respect comprehensive and honest feedback which helps us in our on-going improvement programme. I agree with your views on signage but unfortunately you will have to take this point up with the powers that be as we are unable to install any more...

This was our 2nd night in the UK, booked the day before, terrific room, great and helpful hosts. The breakfast was very nice. The room was good value for the middle of the holiday season, compared to a lot of others I looked at. We were very happy with our choice, thanks Stu and Jennifer.

This was a most acceptable B&B but overpriced. Our room was spacious and comfortable and breakfast was fine, but it was the most expensive accommodation we have had during a 3 month stay in the UK. We have stayed in places that provided many more extras and breakfasts that went the extra mile, and at 20-30 pounds cheaper per night. I have...

Thank you for your review and we are pleased that you found your room both spacious and comfortable. It was a pleasure to meet another set of guests from New Zealand but we are surprised to hear that you felt our breakfasts could have gone the extra mile as while you were with us you decided to share a single...

My wife and I stayed for one night, it's the first time we had stayed in a b&b. what a truly lovely place run by equally lovely hosts. Furnishings and beds are to a very high quality of comfort. Excellent location with pleasant country walks places of interest in easily reachable distances. Over all 5star accommodation

I am really pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. We are very lucky to live in such a peaceful place with many opportunities for country walks. We are also within striking distance of many famous gardens like Mottisfont Hinton Ampner and Hilliers to name but a few. I hope you have a chance to stay with us again soon.
