a very comfortable and elegant place where you can join relaxing days. Friendly and qualified staff, tidy rooms and you can also taste a very good italian and english food. A beautiful garden where you can have fun with friends and kids too.

Lovely Sunday roast, the beef was cooked to perfection. Friendly welcoming staff and even a woodburning stove in the lounge bar area. Perfectway to spend a Sunday afternoon 😊 Our 2 veggie friends had the veg lasagne which seemed very good.

Had a great meal. The staff were very attentive. The seafood sharing platter and steaks were very good. Good selection of ciders and ales. Saturday night had a band playing. Kept us entertained. First time back after the renovation and will definitely go again

We are mature couple from Australia who enjoy older style UK inns & hotels in convenient locations. Poacher Inn was great - clean, great staff, good WiFi, good rates, good food. Would happily go back there.

A friend and I met here on the way home for dinner. The kitchen opens at 6 so while we waited we were served drinks and shown the menu. The staff were very friendly and attentive, this didn't change the busier the pub became. The food was very good and nicely presented. Great place for a catch up

We were not asked if we were enjoying our meal, and we waited 40 mins to be served our food. A busy Friday evening and quite noisy for a while at the bar, but the restaurant was a short way from the bar. Main coarse of steaks, pie and fish and chips were fine. Pie served on a wooden board, in a bowl with chips. No vegetables. Profiteroles for pudding for two of us were hard and dry, so not...

My sons lovely bride picked this place for 8 of the family to stay over this last weekend. The rooms were lovely and clean, the property looked like its recently been refurbished. Although we didn't stay on the property that long as we had a very eventful weekend. The rooms had a kettle and a top class choice of tea...
