A warm, friendly, relaxed, gastro-pub/restaurant, serving delicious but unpretentious food. Nothing stuffy. Great service. Great wine list. Very nice old building with interesting decor. Loads of atmosphere. Our staple for good food locally.

We went for a weekend lunch on route to Sidmouth. The staff are very friendly. The fish & chips come in huge portions and are delicious The desserts are fabulous too! The vanilla cheesecake especially Highly recommend and will be back
