Two night stay to celebrate a birthday. NIce, dog friendly hotel. Room was clean and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. Breakfast both days was good and my gluten free requirement was catered for. We eat in the first evening and the food was really good. I had duck which was cooked perfectly for me.

Lovely hotel within walking distance of Lyndhurst. Rooms are comfortable, food is excellent. We had booked a superior room with jetted tub, however on arrival at the property we had advised that the jetted tub was broken. This was somewhat disappointing as having been on two very long walks at the weekend we were looking forward to using the jetted tub. An email/telephone call pior to our arrrival would have gone a long way. Also we have still been charged the cost of the superior room with jetted tub (we were given complimentary drinks at the bar but these in no way made up for the additional cost). Suggest if you book this room to contact the Hotel before paying. We would visit again but would definitely check everything in the room is working first.

Dear guest We apologise profusely for the broken tub and hoped that the complimentary drinks would have made up for it. The receptionist Lauren said that she mentioned it on arrival to you and you were both upset. If you decide to book with us again please consider a free meal on us. Kind regards

Stayed 2 nights B&B to explore the New Forest, chosen for it's central location in the New Forest and 10 min walk into Lyndhurst. The hotel is well organised and felt very Covid safe. We had a nice, comfortable & quiet top floor room. There was an issue with the central heating in the hotel that weekend but a fan heater was speedily supplied so we quickly warmed up and stayed warm. Breakfast was very tasty and again well organised to keep everyone safe. It is a dog friendly hotel and we saw a few people with dogs in the hotel during our stay but there was no doggy smell anywhere inside. Overall a good value and enjoyable stay.

Stayed here for a long weekend and our room was charming... Comfy bed, en-suite bathroom and a proper hairdryer that you don’t have to hold the button down on!! Breakfast was absolutely lovely and all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.

Very nice little hotel, lovely clean room and perfect location for a very short stroll to Lyndhurst. We did the half board option which was good value. Delicious curry! And dog friendly which is a fantastic bonus for us.
