This time I booked at short notice. We took our two dogs with us. We had a lovely warm welcome on arrival and noticed that yet more improvements had been carried out since our last stay. We love this hotel! We will be returning in a few weeks' time with the whole family and can't wait. Would highly recommend. Rooms well appointed. Hotel spotless, food great.

We stayed at The Ormonde House Hotel for two nights. Our room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was tasty and of good quality. All staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Hotel is a short walk away from the centre of Lyndhurst, with the New Forest literally across the road. We would definitely recommend. This hotel is good value for money. We had a lovely time and would love to return one day.

We visited "Ormonde House Hotel" in August this year, we had been camping for bank holiday and wanted an overnight stay before returning home to Dover Kent the next day. We had stayed at this hotel before and was very lucky to get a room. We had our two dogs with us and they were made very welcome.The hotel had been completely refitted since our last visit to a very high standard. Staff were really welcoming and could not do enough for us.The restaurant food was just amazing serving a range of home cooked Nepalese dishes cooked to perfection. The breakfast was also very enjoyable we wished we could of stayed longer. However we will definitely be returning next year. We cannot recommend this hotel enough, so close to town and surrounding woodland perfect for our dogs the…

My wife & I decided to book a few days away glamping in the new forest but upon arrival (after unpacking the car) we discovered that our tent had been double booked with a family if hornets! Anyway, after several minutes deliberation (which involved me walking in circles saying "what to do" over & over) we decided to pack up quickly and have an adventure. So we then found ourselves (& the dog) in a car park looking desperately for dog friendly hotels not too far away. That's how we stumbled upon Ormonde Hse. A quick phone call later & we were on our way, with the plan of staying one night then heading off. Just returned here for a 2 night stay It’s had a make over since we were here last time Still a lovely hotel Staff friendly and nothing too much trouble I love staying here as they have rooms in a separate building (called the garden rooms) We stayed in room 1 Absolutely love it here very comfortable with little kitchen , separate to the bed sitting area Which is so handy when your sorting out yr dog ( own entrance ) They also offer a breakfast. Bought to your room in a hot box Delicious love breakfast in bed. It’s truly a luxury for me when I’m away They have a restaurant in the main hotel with a bar Meals were delicious.
