Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed here for two nights, friendly welcome & check in. Had large family room which was cleaned really well, had tv, hair dryer & a double and pull out sofa bed. Be careful of the shower & sink taps as could be very hot. Large carpark for car and short walk to Lyndhurst high street. Good value. Recommended

We stayed for a night for a wedding nearby and all the staff we encountered were very friendly and accommodating, even trying to get us in our room slightly earlier despite it having been occupied the night before. After a long wedding I just wanted a child's breakfast the following morning and there was no argument about that. The rooms are no frills but it did the job perfectly, and it was made all the better by the lovely staff.

Hotel accommodation rooms overlooking the garden were peaceful and quiet . The hotel is well positioned in the New Forest and only 20 minutes from sites like Beaulieu. The centre of Lyndhurst is only a few minutes walk away with a variety of small shops and coffee outlets

This was very busy when we arrived but we were squeezed in for lunch without booking. The staff were lovely and friendly and the food was good. We also had dinner in the restaurant as we were staying. The bedroom was comfortable and clean and breakfast was good too.

18 of us went to the White Rabbit for an evening meal on Sunday and the staff, the food and service was superb! The food came out at the same time, quite a feat for 18 people, and it was just delicious. Would recommend highly.

We stayed for two nights, at first the room seemed ok, but closer inspection there were a few faults, the toilet seat was loose, no bed side lights, bulbs missing in two of the lights. No mirror infront of the dressing table,so l moved the chair infront of the long mirror, which was a pain. The door to the shower cubicle was very narrow, which for larger guests would be a nightmare. Also was above the kitchen so the staff banged the doors from early morning and late at night. Our room differently needed some updating. Saying all that, we couldn't say anything bad about the staff who were all lovely and the food was very nice.
