I stayed here for a weekend away with my friends in July and I couldn't have asked for a better setting. Aside from the fact that it is an idyllic house that has everything you could hope for and more from a BnB (including a pool!!), it is Lesley that made our stay so outstanding. She is a kind and...

I had a lovely room with en suite overlooking a large well-cared for garden with swimming pool (ideal for a dip and cooling off on hot days). We ate the evening meal provided (you need to book in advance) on the garden terrace overlooking gorgeous countryside and bathed in evening sunshine. Our hostess, Lesley, is warm and positive who was...

Whether it be the the house itself, the hostess (Lesley is one of a kind) or the breakfast my stay was absolutely wonderful. It really is home from home and I can't rate highly enough everything about 41 Great North Road. Nothing is too much trouble and in this day and age it is a joy to be able to...

I cannot say enough about this place. Lesley is a one of a kind hostess who will cater for your every need. My girlfriend and I were let down by a landlord and had no where to stay which is why we visited 41 great north road (where my friend basically lives). We didn't want to leave. Beautiful rooms in...

Beautiful place to relax during my Easter Break :) Lesley is an exceptional hostess and I am really lucky to have such a beautiful haven to relax and study during my break. The wonderful view out of the garden window is always a charmer especially especially during summer months when one can also enjoy in the pool :) An exceptional,...

The place is wonderful, bucolic, people are kind and helpful. Prices are honest and comfortable accommodation. The place is safe, peaceful and the owner, Lesley, is a lovely person !! Staying there was the greatest gift we gained during our stay in London!!

My stay in the B&B has been really lovely with my host Lesly, who has taken great care of all my needs. The B&B is warm, cozy and enjoys superb views out of the garden. I strongly recommend a stay at this beautiful place.

Beautiful, grande house in lovely setting. Easily accessible from the M25, M1 and A1. Local trains run to Kings Cross in 20 min. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Spacious lounge and dining room is very relaxing. Outdoor swimming pool will be great in summer. A full cooked English breakfast, whilst reading the paper, overlooking the garden and forest is...

The hostess, the house, the rooms, the garden just everything is just great. Lesley makes sure you have everything you need and then some. She fosters a nice atmosphere by introducing everybody, thus breaking the ice and clearing the path to making new friends. She treats everybody in her house like family. I must absolutely recommend this place, even though,...

Lesley is a charming and helpful host. Views from the rear of the house and the garden were very pleasant. Parking was easy. We were disappointed that we weren't given the ensuited rooms that had been booked many months in advance and surprised when we had to share a bathroom with other guests.
