Had a really great night. Table , food was excellent. Good atmosphere all night. Disco was very good especially later on . Room excellent . Breakfast very good . Plenty of choices. Overall a great night would definitely recommend this for a Christmas party night.

I attended one of the party nights we had a table of 10, food was great , DJ was good, service was spot on..........!!! It was definitely worth the money we paid. We even had a few dietary requirements on they day, the staff organised us an alternative main and dessert with no issues at all.

A stay for one was booked in the older part of the hotel. Room 13 was provided . Tired dirty with no working phone, no lights on desk to work at, no heat in the bathroom. Peeling wall paper and open velux windows which I could not reach to close. Not to clean either !! Complained and was Told nothing... More

My lover and I stopped at Shendish as a special treat based on the excellent reviews. It certainly lived up to those reviews. The bedroom which was located in the main manor house was huge and well appointed. The bathroom was spacious although the shower water pressure was poor. Great bed; big and it did not squeak which is a... More

We stopped for a late bar lunch on Saturday afternoon and I had a pint of draft Guinness and requested a glass of water for my wife. I got my beer and my wife's water also came in a pint pot!! We ordered Gourmet sandwiches of ham and cheese which were served with coleslaw. No cutlery or serviettes! We asked... More

We have just returned from a lovely stay at Shendish Manor. We were greeted by the friendliest team in reception and felt very welcomed. The room was gorgeous, very comfortable and lovely and quiet. The bathroom was huge, with a choice of a bath or shower (you don't get that very often!) We had our evening meal in the hotel,... More

We stayed last night in Room 2, a four poster room on a dinner bed and breakfast deal of £175. It was worth every penny. Service 10/10 from every member of staff. Room 10/10. Gloriously scrumptious, light bright colours on furnishings and walls and spotlessly clean. Food 10/10 3 course dinner was perfectly delicious and breakfast spot on buffet which... More

We booked to dine in the restaurant and wish we hadn't. The menu on the website was far more desirable than the one actually offered on the night. We chose the salmon which was a teeny piece sat on top of burnt shrivelled mushrooms and shallots with four new potatoes and not a sign of any vegetables or sides! Not... More

I must say after experiencing not so great an experience in getting our afternoon booked for today, it all worked out in the end. I was really disappointed by the sheer lack of communication over the past few weeks when I was trying to organise this baby shower. The Events Department was not great to say the least and in... Lovely hotel and location, only 10 -15 minutes drive from Warner Bros Studio. Did not eat there in the evening, bur a very good breakfast the following day! Would suit all party types, families, groups, couples...etc. There was a wedding party there on the Saturday evening, very busy, but didn't hear a thing back at the room. I would certainly... More
