Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Well what a find, lovely quirky boutique B&B. The owner Melvyn was lovely, so friendly. The rooms are all themed, and the diner (self service) was fully stocked with whatever you need. Breakfast is self serve, you make your own, plenty to choose from. Loved reading up on the history, the attention to detail for the fixtures and fittings was excellent. Well recommended 🥰🥰

This property is amazing, it definitely has the wow factor. It is impeccably decorated and furnished to a very high standard, making it more than a very comfortable stay. Everything is provided for you. It is better than most 5* hotels. Our host was very welcoming and showed us around and explained how everything worked . We will be back, and would recommend others to book here.

I stayed at the PitStop for the purpose of resting before collecting a car to return to Cornwall. I cannot praise the accommodation sufficiently. The design and execution of the letting rooms is exceptional and the facilities of the kitchen diner outstanding. Overall first class.

A perfect overnight stay en route to a 50 year reunion. I chose randomly on line and what a wonderful surprise. A warm / friendly and helpful welcome from Melvyn the owner who showed me to a delightful room with adjacent kitchen diner, both of which would provide my requirements and much more. Very happy and would definitely and hopefully visit again. Thank you.

Amazing hotel, rooms were breathtaking and the breakfast was a hit. We are in aw over the possibility to check out the museum with all the beautiful Morgans. We have never been in a hotel like this before. Our host was very helpful and welcoming.

So kind of you to rave about our place - we are a bit special I know, so very much appreciated. We are a working Morgan sports car main dealership so some like yourself may think we are a museum which we are not, but if it makes folks happy looking at all the Morgans we have for sale, that is great Best wishes & kind regards Melvyn

A unique experience. Fabulously appointed with a motoring theme which was excellent- and we’re not even particularly motoring people. Fantastic attention to detail and scrupulously clean. Great welcome and the self service kitchen diner made for great interactions with the other guests. We would Thoroughly recommend it

What a find! A unique place to stay set in lovely countryside and also with easy access to Stansted Airport. Very individual rooms - we stayed in the Indian double. High spec and very clean. A great American style diner for breakfast. Can also use this at other times for tea and coffee. Lots of British classic Morgan cars on site to admire - and rent for the day. The owners, Melvyn and Cindy are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a stay here..

We had a great evening staying here, the rooms were a good size and uniquely decorated. The common area was large and had everything we needed plus more. The fridge was fully stocked with all the essentials plus plenty of other treats which was a lovely touch. Breakfast is self service which I liked, and we felt very relaxed here. The rooms were a little warm, but there were fans and we could open the skylights so it wasn't too hot, just be aware you don't need thick PJs!
