We went to Pendley Manor for my sister’s 40th birthday. From the moment I went into reception clutching helium balloons to be planted for the occasion, the staff were wonderful. The suite we were upgraded to was fabulous and there were plenty of lovely touches such as birthday chocolates and cards for my sister. We really felt very well looked after. Dinner in the restaurant was fabulous. Special mention to Bela who really went the extra mile in looking after us and making it feel really special. I wouldn’t hesitate to book another stay

Our one night stay at Pendley Manor was exceptionally lovely: the delightful historic house, the newly refurbished suite, fine food, the peacocks to watch over breakfast (!), plus spa facilities. But it was the service that stood out head and shoulders above any other hotel I've been to - professional, helpful while understated, polite and friendly. It was a real stand-out experience.

I have emailed the Hotel but I did not get a satisfactory response for these catalogue of errors. 2 out of 5 is due to the good food not the rooms or the service. 1. different than the one I though I had booked 2. no champagne on the room after I specifically asked for when i booked 3. cold room and no heating. 4. welcome message not to us in the room 4. maid in our room for no reason - security issue! 5. Barman splashing us with beer after barrel change. These don't seem much for some but for an expense of over £350 for 1 night that was our Honeymoon these seem to have ruined our stay.

Dear Mr Reed Many thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. I have been made aware of your complaint, and I understand my colleague Anna has been very forthcoming in dealing with this. I would like to confirm the following points. 1. Your room was upgraded free of charge to the highest category of room type we have as a good will gesture. You originally booked an executive room, however we kindly upgraded you to the bridal suite. We also arranged a lovely welcome amenity for you including rose petals and swan shaped towels. 2. The champagne was not included in your package, however again as a good will gesture we gave you a complimentary bottle of prosecco to mark your special occasion. 3. After discussing this with our team, it appears you mentioned upon check out that you had issues with heating and hot water. If you had made our front office team aware at the time, we would have resolved this issue immediately. 4. We apologise for your name not being on the screen, we did have some system integration problems and I can only apologise for this. 5. The maid in the room was present to provide a turn down service that was given complimentary to you as we upgraded you to a VIP. 6. Unfortunately, the pressure within our pipes can sometimes be affected when we change a barrel, we apologise that you were splashed in this process. We booked the summer glow up spa package which included 2 treatments and afternoon tea. My therapist- Sophie- was absolutely wonderful! All the staff were friendly and welcoming. The afternoon tea was delightful. The surrounding area and Pendley manor was absolutely beautiful. Thank you for making our day special! Look forward to visiting again!

I treated my partner to a surprise spa day at Pendley Manor for his birthday and could not fault the day. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the gorgeous building and were then greeted by a friendly receptionist who directed us to the spa. The lady on the spa reception was lovely and made a point of wishing my partner a happy birthday. She gave us a tour and it was a welcome surprise to find a rope, towel, slippers and toiletries waiting in our respective changing rooms. We visited on a Friday and the spa was extremely quiet and we had the pool to ourselves! Our treatments were amazing. Sophie was fantastic and my massage and facial was one of the best I’ve had. My partner really enjoyed the salt scrub and neck/back massage. We felt so pampered and relaxed. After our treatments we headed to the Shakespeare Bar for lunch which was included in the package. The staff were so friendly and attentive and made it so special for my partner - top ups of Prosecco, birthday wishes and a birthday plate with chocolate truffles. We were so appreciative of the effort made. The lunch was fantastic, made all the better by the stunning view of the gardens which were filled with roaming peacocks! Really good spa experience with Sophie- I had a full body scrub and back massage. She immediately made me feel comfortable and welcome, asked lots of questions about what kind of pressure I preferred. It was only my second time ever getting a professional massage and it was great❤️

The grand Manor is set in beautiful grounds. I went with 8 members of my family for lunch to celebrate my birthday. The venue splendid, the gardens magnificent and the atmosphere in the Oak Restaurant rich and opulent. The food delicious. The staff amazing. Welcoming. They accommodated all our wishes efficiently and always with a smile. We all had a fabulous time and Pendley now has 9 new fans. Thank you for making a special day...very very special!

What a beautiful place to stay should a lovely hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Dinner was in the Oak restaurant and could not fault the food or the service. Loved seeing all the peacocks wandering around.
