Back to Weobley for fishing, and, after our last trip, our only choice is Mellington House. Not much to add - another very warm welcome from Alison and Chris, and great accommodation in "The Cottage" this time; perfect for our needs. Will definitely return.

We often travel to Herefordshire to fish the Wye but our "usual" was booked, so a friend recommended Mellington House. So glad he did - Alison and Chris were both exceedingly friendly and helpful, the accommodation was lovely, and also cheaper than our previous place to boot. Lovely cooked breakfast as well. When we next return to Herefordshire, Mellington House will be our first choice!

My brother in law and I were cycling for a week in Shropshire/Wales the last week of August. We had two wonderful quiet nights at The Mellington Guest House in Weobley. The accommodation provided was second to none, and both mornings we were pampered with a very tasty breakfast prepared by Alison. Weobley is a charming village with a few shops, good restaurants/pubs. We also found Weobley Jubilee Heritage Trail interesting! All in all, Weobley is a place we wish to return to. Thank you, Chris and Alison!

Another stay in the beautiful, quiet village of Weobley. Mellington House is an excellent base and Chris & Alison are perfect hosts, so friendly and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble for them. This time we stayed in The Hayloft, just the two of us but it can comfortably sleep four, whether B&B or self-catering. Weobley has a number of very good eating establishments, including an excellent Indian restaurant and two real ale pubs. we would thoroughly recommend Mellington House and expect to come back again in the future.

Good to be back!! Once again we had a delightful 4 night stay in the Old Stable, which was as always, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Alison and Chris were most welcoming and made certain that everywhere was covid safe. Looking forward to our next visit. A & J

We stayed in The Old Stable part of Mellington House - a 15th century half timbered part of the building, with all modern comforts. All the facilities for self catering, plus served with breakfast and friendly and informative chats in the main house. We were made really welcome and were looked after really well by Alison and, together with an equally friendly Chris, were treated to lots of interesting insights to the village and living in a 15th century property. Mellington house is located in the middle of the village, just a few steps from good places to eat and shop. The village of Weobley is rich in tudor houses, with informative plaques creating a really interesting walking tour and, for a driving tour, is on the Black and White (Tudor Houses) trail, which we very much enjoyed. When we return for a few more days in this area Mellington house will be our first choice, even if we need to change our holiday dates to find a date when they are not fully booked; it was perfect for us.

We had a lovely stay here on our Wyche Way walk. We stayed in the Coach house and we had the house all to ourselves. The hosts are great and there is a big garden to use if you wish. The house is old, nicely renovated, with beams and views over the garden. It's also right in the middle of Weobley. We had a tasty breakfast in the morning. Couldn't be better!

My wife and I and a friend stayed for four nights in the Hayloft which is a lovely self contained two bedroom first floor annexe. The accommodation was spotless and extremely well equipped for either self catering or B&B. We chose to have breakfasts rather than self cater, and these were freshly cooked with plenty of options. The owner hosts were lovely and very helpful. The cafe next door is super and the pub up the road serves lovely fresh local food. We came for an 80th birthday party and this lovely guesthouse really made the weekend for us. All super.
